I didn't realize it before I started writing myself, but 4000 words for a contest is a good bit of writing. I think you did will with this one Writer(although you probably already knew of my opinion
).
Oh yea and I realized something really stupid. I was actually going to go vote for this when you announced that it had been submitted, but for some weird reason I couldn't find it on the group page, so I ended up deciding that one vote didn't matter anyway. I guess you could have had 3'rd place if I had actually found it.

That's okay. I wouldn't have wanted to win the vote by bringing in my followers, I wanted to win by way of my story bringing in the votes. Tied for 4th, one vote shy of being featured on the FlutterDash group page, is not too shabby for a first try. I beat RainbowBob for Pete's sake! Even if it's not his usual genre, that's still pretty awesome.
At some point, possibly very soon, I will be sending you the feedback I received from Kitsune Risu- who sent me a few messages- and Titanium Dragon- whom I have yet to respond to. We're going to tear this thing apart and build it back up. KR in particular was very helpful and courteous about the whole thing, even while I was stuck in "Oh I didn't win! I suck at writing! I'll just go quit!" mode. No wonder I was drawn to acting; I'm such a drama king sometimes.

I would need the artist's permission. Also, I'm not sure that would really go with my story. There's a bit too much going on in the story for me to really know what I would want to look for as a cover.
At this point, cover art for this story isn't a huge focus. I'm focusing right now on getting new stories out.

Psh, nobody can. My first drafts are usually pretty painful. When I get into a story, the ideas flow fairly easily, but the wording of things is extremely sloppy. I have to go back, think about what I was doing, and then edit it so that other people will know what the heck I'm talking about.
Just find a few good editors, especially ones that you can bounce ideas off of.

Hmm. I do love me some FlutterDash. Interesting story, here. Sorta reverses the old "Dash gets hurt, Fluttershy takes care of her, romance happens" cliché. Pretty good story, I thought. I can't think of much I found off-putting or that felt really out of place. I thought it was sorta odd that Flutters was still so awful at flying by the time Twilight becomes friends with all of them, since one of the things she does in the first two episodes is help carry Twilight after she falls off that cliff, but that's all I can think of. Other than that, it seems fine to me.

This is over a year old, and I don't really think it reflects my current level of writing skill. I could probably do a much better FlutterDash now if I tried. The issue is that I simply haven't had the motivation. I kind of burned out on the ship sometime after S4 began.
