Anonymous had been engaged to Lyra, but decided he wasn't ready and left town before the wedding to think. Days became weeks, weeks became months, and months became years. He decides it's finally time to return to the pony he'd left at the altar.

I started writing this on my phone when I had to evacuate from hurricane Sandy, and it's been mostly unfinished until recently. Reading my old works, I noticed I always get dialogue over with very quickly instead of fleshing much out. This time, I wanted to try and write better dialogue, with more "meat" to it. I don't know if I succeeded or not, but I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out.
I'm also aware that the pacing is pretty fast, but that's something else I'm trying to work on.

Due to a rather unfortunate stroke of bad luck, a Blacklight Agent by the codename of "Deadman" has managed to get dumped into Equestria, with nothing to guide him but his training and what he learned in the field fighting The Order and SIVs in this new land.

Can he accept that this land is not in need of a remorseless killing machine like home was? Can the ponies accept a warrior soaked in the blood of nations as a person, and not just another monster in their land of black and white?

Perhaps only time will tell.

Knowledge of the universe is not required, and the story is currently undergoing editing in some of the chapters to correct my past mistakes.

A human with a sour temper, an immunity to magic and mischievously-sinister tendencies appears in Celestia's garden. His body suffers from a strange case of disproportionate deformity, and he displays a certain degree of genre savviness regarding the ponies' world. Using this knowledge, the human struggles to avoid "cliches" to the point of obsession. His attitude constantly pushes away the ponies and their attempts at friendship, while he intends to use the brightly-colored equines to gain a stranglehold on their economics. Combining cartoon-physics and manipulation, the human slowly rises to the occasion in order to swindle the wealthy, assert his presence, and dominate his environment.

Just how far into his quest for wealth, however, will the ponies let him get?

Alfred Wight, more commonly known across the world as the veterinarian James Herriot, finds himself in Equestria at the behest of Princess Celestia. While there, he encounters many strange cases, and generally feels quite out of his element. But Celestia has him set up practice as both animal and pony doctor in the small burg of Ponyville for a reason, and he finds himself as quite the fish out of water. Even so, the citizenry of Ponyville are just as colorful as the Yorkshire farmers he's used to, and it just goes to show that people are people, and patients are patients, no matter where you go.

This story takes place before the events of Friendship is Magic.

I was bored, and wrote something I'm sure most of you could see coming from a mile away. Zecora has always had a problem with certain words, and this is quite a pain to her, especially when it comes to her favorite fruit.

This special edition of COPS is written on location with the stallions and mares of law enforcement. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Celestia has faced many terrible foes throughout her life, from tyrant unicorns to the very embodiment of chaos. However, the time has come for the noble alicorn to fight against the most dreadful of monsters, a vile creature which dwells in the shadows of the night, flying through the darkness as it thirsts for the blood of innocent ponies.

It is time for Celestia to face... the common mosquito.
