After the 'Canterlot Wedding' incident the Changeling swarm was scattered across the land, enslaved by pony warlords and slavers beyond the borders of Equestria. Weak, desperate and with only a dozen changelings to her name, Queen Chrysalis resorts to summoning one of the most obscure creatures in mythology; a human.

I'd heard about the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic from my college roommate who is way too into the show. Disturbingly so, actually, but good gravy I would never watch the darned thing! What am I, five? I've got better things to do with my time than watch a silly little girl's show. However, that didn't stop... something from transporting me into the world of the show, so here I am... in Equestria... trying to get home. This is gonna be interesting.

Eventually enslaved by diamond dogs, for ten long years he labors under their cruel whips, eventually escaping his captors only to become lost in the depths of Equestria's vast underworld. Dying of thirst, the man spies the Well of Eternity and drinks his fill. Its waters more than quench his thirst; a metamorphosis occurs and changes him, for good or ill none can tell. What fate shall befall this man, the Great Slave King?

Hayseed Turnip Truck isn't the smartest pony in Equestria. Actually, to put it bluntly, he's about as sharp as a bowling ball, and just as cultured as one. But when he gets a letter from his distant cousin inviting him to the richest city in the country, even he's smart enough to see the opportunity of a lifetime presented to him. Will he be able to adapt to the snooty, pompous, and upscale life in Canterlot? How will the city's residents react to a simply country pony like him? And what could possibly ensue?
