Interlude: The Book of Earth
Thus began the reign of the Great Slave King.
The next two years were a turning point in the history of Equestria.
The destruction of the Diamond Vale was a crippling blow to the Diamond Dogs, and they were scattered to the four corners of Equestria
Lady Zephyr, the mistress of the sky, in mourning over the loss of her beloved Lord Darkpaw, tasked her Windigos to scourge the inhabitants of the Earth, and sent forth her children, the Griffins from their eyrie’s to chastise them.
Lord Ouroboros, the keeper of the flame, in his greed for the wealth of the Earth, sent forth his minions from their rookeries and hoards to loot and pillage the Earth. They would not rest till all recognized him as their lord and master, sending tribute to his great hoard.
Lord Triton, the lawgiver, seeing the transgressions of his brethren, and the chaos filling the Earth could not stand idly by, so he sent forth his wardens from their keeps to punish the lawbreakers, choking the Earth of its wealth, unless it would repent and heed the call of harmony.
Jormungandr, the winding one, saw the wickedness of his younger siblings, and dried up his waterways, separating the Earth from the rest, in hopes that their quarrels would be resolved by distance.
From his stone prison, Discord, scion of chaos, laughed at the quarrels of the Prime Elements
Celestia the radiant and Luna the beautiful shed many tears when they saw the suffering of the inhabitants of the land. Of all the tears shed, the most pure and holy one found its way into the Well of Eternity…

Gentle readers, thank you for reading my story so far. I hope to keep up the release of a chapter at least every other day. Additionally the story is reaching a crossroad, eventually the story will intersect with the other three prime elements, which one we cover next water or fire I'll let the audience decide. Additionally a certain bearded pony and a clever pony will be introduced in the next chapter of the Great Slave King.

The purpose of those chapters was meant to show a typical human, or ape as the wonderfully talented Chantoyance might say, would act. Challenge, what challenge? I thought she just tried to off you. or at least imprison you in stone. Not really a challenge. and seriously you could level some serious threats, for example "try that again and the earth will refuse you its bounty, and all shall starve for your trespasses." all farms need the earth to grow food, you literally have the entirety of the world in a choke hold, except for maybe the dragons, if you wanted to threaten them, just turn all gems into coal.

322469 Yes, but she tried to do what Lord Darkpaw attempted. Violate the law of the moot.The Slave King isn't a soulless monster yet. He only really has a quarrel with the gem biter clan. If Lord Darkpaw had let him kill a few of them, the whole situation could have been avoided. In the next chapter I'll explain the mechanics behind the prime elements.

This is Legion Recruit q97randomguy with the debriefing of the first section.
As anticipated the addition of new god shook up the established order and caused what is apparently a global war.
Zephyr was indeed romantically involved with Darkpaw and in her rage over his death she sparked this conflagration.
Ouroboros only made it worse, and the others in an attempt to reign them in made the situation worse.
As expected the only one that got what he wanted was Discord.
The situation looks bleak, q97randomguy is moving out and keeping low.

This is some great shit,
took me far longer to start reading it than I thought.
Everything about this story just confuses the hell out of me. Celestia just suddenly up and decided: Hey, this guy who was abused for ten years is a threat. I'ma kill it! Even if you change it to being turned to stone, that still doesn't explain HOW he lives without his heart or WHY he did that in the first place. Nothing is really being explained here, like we're expected to know just what your story entails without being given many details. It's like giving us a 500 piece puzzle and telling us to solve it, but only with 100 pieces in front of us, while the others are hidden throughout the house.
