She didn't know what she really was, all she knows is that ponies didn't like her. Not one bit.

However, Princess Celestia has sent her, and her Dragon Spike, to organise and review the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration.

But that night. That fateful night..may turn into a dreading nightmare.....

Years have passed since the Elements of Harmony were left behind to Twilight Sparkle by the circle of ponies who had once guarded them. Now it’s just the Princess of Friendship and her trusted consort, Discord. Enter Argyle Starshine, Twilight's son, a prince made of the stars and the Elements of Harmony themselves. Born with three strange crystals alongside him in a time where ponies from every walk of life are led by one of Twilight's once-trusted consorts, Azreal, the Prince finds himself in the middle of a corrupt mutiny of ponies fighting to rid the world of the last Princess and magic altogether. 

2,000 moons later, Argyle, the last of his kind, struggles to find out what being a Prince really means. However, when Discord is captured by none other than Azreal himself in former Canterlot - now dubbed Equidae, a diplomatic centre for this new way of life in Equestria - Argyle must set out to save his friend, discover exactly what power the gems of his truly hold, find out how to unite all three of the divided tribes, and above all, not blow his cover in his new earth pony home of Maretime Bay. His challenges only grow after his daughter, Sunny, enters his life, eventually leaving him with no choice but to abandon his home and family altogether when his superiors in Equidae start to question his loyalty to the new world order. Now he has to leave the fate of Equestria's magical revival in young Sunny's hooves, while questioning his own part to play in his manifest destiny. But can both save Equestria without the other?

In the narrow alleys of Canterlot, Twilight, a dreamy orphan, grows up hidden in the shadows of the mighty Sun Empress Celestia. Through a series of surprising events, Twilight suddenly finds herself in the role of Celestia's personal apprentice. However, with this new position also come strange dreams that haunt her at night, and the monarch's behavior towards her becomes increasingly enigmatic and atypical.

Twilight's life takes a dramatic turn when she looks behind Celestia's carefully maintained facade. While rummaging through forbidden archives, she discovers censored documents that not only reveal the truth about her past but also Celestia's secret plans for the fate of the world. Caught between loyalty to Celestia and the urge to find her own identity, Twilight must decide how far she is willing to go to uncover the truth and avert the impending doom.

Every lover of a strong and clever Twilight will get their money's worth here. There are some very dark, but also very sweet scenes.

Changelings have always been a secretive race, shrouded in mystery and keeping to themselves, staying unnoticed and in the shadows, feeding where they could and avoiding discovery at all costs. When Chrysalis made peace with Celestia, the veil of secrecy and subterfuge was shattered, and thanks to Twilight's efforts, the other changeling queens can no longer remain hidden.

Of course, Twilight is more than happy to leave the tricky diplomacy to Celestia. She's having a hard enough time dealing with her own amorous changeling queen and her new personal pegasus guard competing with her.

Another Harry Potter crossover fanfic (in general; it's actually my first one.) This time, however, I'm giving Harry to somepony a little less scrupulous.

Chrysalis had been planning for the attack on Canterlot for years.

When she wanted to relax, she would walk through an odd portal that led to a world unfamiliar to her.

It was during one of these walks that she stumbled upon the blood wards of #4 Privet Drive... and the negative emotions of one Harry James Potter.

Upon the further investigation she had ordered, Chrysalis discovered the true depths of these emotions.

She also ended up linking Harry into her hive physically and mentally. A whoopsie for most, but for Chrysalis, it presented a chance to give a better life to Harry.

The only downside was that she needed to rethink her plans to include Harry.

The Wizarding World shall beware Prince Harry Chrysalia...

A queen will do a lot for her subjects, even give up her own child if it meant giving them a better life, despite the obvious pain that causes for the children in question.
That is a pain Twilight Sparkle never felt, as she grew up never knowing that her loving family had adopted her. And while those connections remain, as secrets become revealed, Twilight cannot help but wonder about what never was, as she attempts to reconnect with a family she never knew she had. Even if that means admitting that she, herself, is a monster.

There has never been a challenge too great for her, nor a single villain who could shake the foundations of her loyalty. When she is sent to the Crystal Empire to complete a test, she finds herself in a comprising position.

Waking up in a jail cell, she is now the prisoner of evil King Sombra. However, not everything is what it seems. Secrets of the past reveal to show that neither Sombra nor Celestia is what history makes them out to be. Is this new truth enough to shake Twilight's loyalty for the princess she always considered to be kind, tolerant, and compassionate?
