My name is Celestia. This is a kind of log, an epistolary detailing various portions of my experiences throughout my long life, and several analytical reflections that come to mind at times. Most importantly, it is a collection of personal thoughts as I struggle through my eternal life's hardships.

Now that my purpose has been discovered, I have decided to share these entries with everypony here; perhaps my own shared introspection over my lifetime could provide an alternative way of thinking to some. If not, then I hope I did not bore you. I realize much of it is pointless rambling, but I have chosen several entries that I believe may be of interest.

Long ago their society collapsed inward and their leaders left them for a new land. Those that stayed behind continued the feuding of their forebearers. Poisoned by hatred, the three pony tribes fought endlessly with each other and the brutal winter they caused only grew worse. The fields that once grew food became trapped in ice as the land froze over, and the nation was plunged into a new Dark Age.

That was 1800 years ago, and the tribes of that once great nation have limped along ever since. No one remembers this nation as it once was, no one even remembers its name. Only what is told in the Hearth's Warming Eve play has been passed on. It seemed all but forgotten until a theft from the Royal Canterlot Archives brings Twilight Sparkle and her friends to that forgotten realm on a journey that will breathe new life into a frozen wasteland and change the world forever.

After strange occurrences with radios across the world Twilight does some research. What she finds, changes everything.

Pinkie tells you, the reader, all about her day. Why did you have to ask her about it, numbskull? You know she won't shut up until she's told you the whoooole story...

What does it mean to be the most powerful unicorn in Ponyville, maybe even in the whole of Equestria? When you can fix everything with magic, what do you do when everypony expects you to do just that? Are there limits to what Twilight´s magic can do, and what lies beyond those limits?

Centuries after Equestria's defeat, mankind has become the new symbol of resistance to an unknown yet ever-present enemy. The awakening of two creatures, some of whom would dare call gods, will forever change man's knowledge of both this unknown enemy, and the forces that it had been censoring for many millennia.

Twilight has trouble sleeping one night and goes to great lengths in order to sleep. This won't end well...

Twilight Sparkle is the prized student of Princess Celestia, two-fold champion of Equestria, bearer of The Element of Magic, and general mare of renown. But we are all a product of our history and Twilight, along with the whole of Equestria, is no exception. When she is asked by Princess Celestia to look into an strange new field of magic, our studious heroine will get to learn first-hoof just how fickle history, and how important its quirks, can be.

I'd really appreciate feedback on how I can keep improving, so feel free to point out any errors in the comments. I'm looking forward to continuing this story despite my poor work ethic, so updates might be a bit slow. Regardless, I hope you enjoy what i have so far.
