The Summer Sun Celebration has gone off without a hitch, leaving Twilight embarrassed and confused. She is sent to remain in Ponyville to learn about friendship, the most powerful magic ever. However this task is interrupted by an unwanted guest. Not only is Twilight forced to put up with her new houseguest, she's starting to feel a change coming over her, taking over her mind. Can she resist the call of the night, or will she fall entirely into the grasp of Nightmare Moon?

Death, as in the anthropomorphic personification of death, is lost. When His fateful steed Binky takes a misstep, Death is thrown off of His horse and into the Great Unknown. After seeing the inner working of the universe*, He falls into a pond. Upon fishing Himself out of said pond, Death finds Himself in a forest that feels more like a park than an actual forest. Death starts to ponder what type of planet He is on. If it was not a disc that is supported on the backs of four elephants which, in turn, stand on the back of a giant turtle. Then it could be a regular boring spherical shape planet. Death then travels to a near by village, which by then He is accosted a certain group of ponies.

*Which He has already ready seen. If you asked Him what it looks like, He would say it was blue.**

Since the events of "That Tuesday Morning," Twilight has become increasingly intrigued in time travel. However an apparent spell backfire creates an anomaly that throws Twilight into an unknown corner of time. Here she finds an Equestria where neither sun nor moon rises, and great powerful goddesses shatter the land. What can Twilight possibly do to save Equestria from this dark future, where friends have become powerful enemies.

Ponies love order and predictability. They feel comfortable in a position of control over nature, weather, magic and the movement of the sky. Change is frightening. Perfection is paramount. When ponies begin to feel like they are losing control of these things and perfection is slipping out of their hooves, they look for something to blame. They are certain it can only be some malicious force of evil. Little do they know, their unwitting culprits will come falling right out of the sky. What ensues is a long and perilous struggle to reconcile the conflicting views and beliefs of two very different civilizations.

Twilight Sparkle inherits a number of papers from her great-uncle, a professor of ancient languages in the University of Canterlot, who died under suspicious circumstances. After reading her uncle's accounts of a strange cult dedicated to an ancient being known as Cthulhu, Twilight begins her own investigations, only to encounter horrible truths.

A thousand years ago the princesses both had a devoted pupil. A special spell had been placed upon these students by those loyal to them. If ever a princess should be incapacitated, than the spell would place that princess's student into stone until the princess regained their position. When this spell was originally created, it was merely thought to be a method of keeping the student under the control, it was never thought that one of the two princesses would ever actually be incapacitated, that is until princess Luna was banished to the moon.

The equestrians have forgotten us, forgotten of those they once fought side by side with, lived and coexisted with. Those who they had once called brothers and sisters. I am here to remedy that, to bring back the forgotten histories of Equestria.

Part one: First contact

While pursuing a splinter of Hive Fleet Behemoth, Captain Sicarius and the Ultramarines 2nd company are caught in a warp storm that carries them and their prey to an unknown planet. Meanwhile, Princess Luna notices something strange in space that could spell danger for all of Equestria. Swept up in a war between the terrifying Tyranid swarm and the vengeful Ultramarines, the ponies must fight for their lives in a war that spans a galaxy.
