Sequel to Pinkie Pie Meets the Pyro. I suggest you read it, if you haven't already. Imagine watching Rocky IV without watching Rocky III, it's possible, but the story isn't satisfactory and Cthulhu will hunt you down and claim your soul if you do.

July 22, 2013 Update: Total rework of the chapters, the story is tighter, more coherent, and I would like to apologize to the people who read it before this update. I reread all of it and saw so many obvious mistakes, really shoddy work, again sorry about it, I won't let it happen again.

It's a bright sunny day in Ponyville. Ponies talk, ponies laugh, and then there's the huge black death sphere that sucks up all matter in its path.

The Elements of Disharmony have been discovered. As they choose their new masters, it is a race against time to find the wielders before they discover their Elements, or the safe streets of Canterlot will erupt into a full-blown war between the masters of Harmony and Disharmony. My personal/"ponysona" OC will not be a character in this story, although this story includes the original villains The Shadow and Puzzle Master from The Shadowed Nightmare.

UPDATE May 13, 2013: Next chapter will be released May 27, and from then on new chapters will be added much more often.
UPDATE November 29, 2013: The final chapter will be released at the end of next week at the absolute latest. Also, since I am going to submit this story to EqD, I will be revising some of the earlier chapters to fix some basic writing mistakes and flesh out the scenes with better descriptive imagery.

UPDATE February 18, 2024: Haha, okay, so it turns out that I may have slightly overpromised when I wrote the previous update a decade ago. Best I can do for now is quote Douglas Adams: “I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by!” I plan to finish on chapter 20. Hopefully this time I can make the wait a little shorter.

A warning from Princess Celestia is overridden by Pinkie Sense and leads Pinkie Pie into the Everfree forest where she makes a strange and talkative new friend. A heart burning tale of love, loss, lactose, and alliteration.
A/N: The Pyro's gender has been played with, but Valve has given no indication to him/her/shim being a male or female. Though I personally believe he is a female. I will use male pronouns because magic. I have no idea where this story came from but it exist now and I had fun writing it. Hope you like the read.

Rainbow just lost five. And the pain of losing them is starting to affect her.

What will happen when the mind of a pegasus snaps in the torn-up Equestria?

Discord has given up. Defeated so easily? It's time to retire. But he can't just leave Equestria without chaos can he? So he selects a random human to take up his mantle and to create a new reign of chaos.

Can this human manage new powers? Will he go mad or he will he end up as a statue for foals to gawk at? Is there a third option? Not very likely but with this much power he's going to try his best to create chaos and harmony at the same time.

I do promise to try and keep this light hearted and relatively comedic. Oh right I wrote this in response to the 50 000 word pony story contest. I failed horribly but I thought I'd post what I've got up here. I do plan on finishing this and it being around 50 000 words in the end.

A little warning for you in that the prologue is written very differently then the rest of the story. Also it is mostly unnecessary if you want to skip it altogether. The other thing I promise is that the romance is between ponies only and ponies that appear in the show.

Apparently, I wasn't the first human to walk the face of Equestria. In fact, there were a million before me. But for a different purpose, they existed. And to resolve their problems and the past of their creator, I was brought into this world. There was no time for rejoicing or playing around. A duty had been bestowed upon me, just another Human in their eyes, to bear the power that was locked away inside every one of us. To find what was lost to Earth for so long.

But hey, it's Equestria. Things can only look up from here, right?
