This story is a sequel to Saving a Hopeless Soul

Alex, an orphan boy that lived in an orphanage in Seattle, Washington, gets an unexpected turn of events after the orphanage closes after he was the only orphan left, making him being taken to a foster care system. That was until the car he was in gets into an accident and he blacked out. And when he came to, let's just say "he" didn't feel like "him"self.

Tyler is your typical desk jockey; works at a desk all day, then plays games at a desk all night.

But when he accepts the duty of leading a small changeling hive in a dream, he finds himself woefully unprepared for the responsibilities thrust upon him.

Yeah, he did volunteer for it, but how was he supposed to know that some dreams are real?

Magic is real, and Derek is on the verge of unlocking its secrets. It doesn't matter that his best friend doesn't believe any of it, he'll still go along to his first real spell. Unfortunately for the two of them, the magic works a little too well.

Soon they're taken to a strange new world of supernatural horses, a world where intrigue and spellcraft are interwoven to an inescapable prison. An mysterious cult dedicated to the worship of the ancient Alicorns has finally brought two of the ancients back from banishment. Their spell didn't quite work out; they definitely expected the Old Gods to be a little... older.

If the two former humans want to have any hope of seeing their old world and old bodies again, they'll have to make quite an impression to their secret worshipers, or else find themselves at the mercy of the same Alicorn sisters who took over Equestria all those centuries ago.

That's only where their problems start. Growing up as a little pony in a town like Willowbrook might be the greatest challenge they've ever faced.

I believed that I knew how the universe worked. That my purpose in life was to enjoy it to the fullest and not look back. Not a bad life if you ask me although it seems the universe had other plans. On one night all that I knew took a drastic turn. Not only did I find myself in completely different world separated from my quiet life I found myself in that world. Armed with my foolish pride, my hidden self, alien knowledge and the art of deception I took my first steps on a journey with no end in sight...

After many millenia, an unstoppable power has returned to Equestria, something the likes of which the world has never seen since it's creation. A simple human is called upon to help out with this problem, little does he know that he is part of something so much bigger than he could have ever imagined. With the aid of his new equine friends and his unrelenting power within, will he give up everything he has to save everything else?

Princess Luna has got into an argument with her older sister and goes to her private realm to vent. Meanwhile, in another realm, Prince Artemis has got into a similar situation with his brother. From what was a simple meeting between alicorns of the night quickly becomes anything but simple.
