With his parents dead due to unexpected circumstances, 6-year-old Danny has been sent to live with his aunt and uncle who treat him like a slave than a nephew. His cries of help were answered in an unexpected way. When he was cleaning up the front yard, a mysterious wormhole opened up, and he got sucked in. When he woke up, he saw he was in a colorful world, and he wasn't human anymore, but a young pegasus colt, on a cloud about 200 feet from the ground. Luckily, he was helped by a rainbow maned pegasus.

I sorry, I enjoyed this chapter, but mostly because it got trial proceedings SO wrong. Some real alternative universe stuff going on here.
Trial date set less than a week from arrest? Real world it would more likely be 18 months.
Discovery? (legal term for gathering evidence, unlike tv trials, laywers from both sides get to study evidence, challenge it's truthfulness and require documention of how it was gathered months before the trial. ) much of the technical parts of a real trial is back and forth between the lawyers about what can and can not be admitted. No such thing as a Surprise witness or Suddenly found evidence in real trials. Really important, fact changing evidence discovered after a trial starts would still not be allowed, rather if the judge was convinced the evidence was really critical, he would stop the current trial and set a new date months in the future for a new trial. not good tv, perhaps but trials are not for show.
Trials are all about jury selection, challenges of what evidence can be presented and procedural rules.
