Applejack had long since taken the Hearth’s Warming Eve story for fact. When she and Fluttershy find themselves in an untamed wilderness, they’ll learn that not all history is preserved. In their struggle to find their way home, the two will unearth secrets unknown to any living being, pony or otherwise.

Set after the events of "Confidence", Fluttershy has to deal with her new found feelings for her oldest friend. Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash has to come to terms with the consequences of her actions and what they imply about her, and her relationship with Fluttershy.

A rogue tornado wreaks havoc over Ponyville during a scheduled downpour storm. While no severe casualties occurred, the exception is with Fluttershy, who is badly injured. Rainbow Dash is distraught, having nearly lost her best friend and the only pony she ever loved. Now along with their friends, they must cope as best as they can after such a disaster.
