Some three centuries after Twilight Sparkle's coronation, something stranger than anything in Equestria's history appears in the very heart of Equestria itself. A human, lost, confused, and alone, finds himself warily welcomed by the rulers of this strange land.
After trading information about himself for information about the world he'll soon call home, he leaves from Canterlot to the quaint and quiet town of Ponyville, where he eventually meets a lonely bat-pony by the name of Speck.

The Year It happened was 2050, Through unknown means that elude me- I search for answers as to why a chance discovery and decision after a nuclear crisis has landed me two thousand years in the future; From once a wasteland life has miraculously bounced back in the form of many different diverse species- primary of which are ponies...

Were the decisions I made in the hot seat worth it? Are the Scars I bear now going to tell a story of an era long past? Or will these people be doomed to follow down a similar path as my own?

Please note that the story is being currently rewritten to fix many of the holes and shortcomings of the story and make it overall better; This process is already in effect. I still can't believe it all started with a family camping trip gone wrong. One moment I was enjoying my time with my parents and brothers, then next thing I knew I was stranded on a world full of magic and mythological creatures. In one day, I went from worrying about the upcoming calculus test to worrying about my next meal. I remember how the only thing keeping me going was the hope that I might find a way home. Little did I know that some deities had other plans in store for me.

I remember all the promises I made, both those kept and betrayed. I remember the friends I made on my little adventure; the same friends I threw away when everything came crashing down. Oh, the memories I made... Oh, the memories I am now forever cursed to remember.

I suppose this is a just punishment. My only regret is that my friends may never hear my side of the story.

Nobody really likes to move, you leave friends and loved ones behind, familiar surroundings and move to someplace that is different from what you are used to. You have to learn the ropes all over again, make new friends and find your way around, not an easy or fun thing to do.

But what makes a move like that worse, is when it happens and you sleep through the whole thing, doubly so when you didn't plan said move.

A short story depicting the attack on the Capital of Equestria where American Gunships come from mysterious circumstances and assist the ponies from the Storm Kings Army.

The helicopters described are from the Vietnam War. The year from Earth is 1968. Just to clarify that this is not an alternate universe of Vietnam.
