When Twilight was young, she used to sit on the balcony and look down at the statues in the royal garden. At the strange creatures of fur and armour and feathers and horns, and just...wonder on them.
And out of all of them, out of the unique draconequus and the rare Cyclops and the terrifying Invention Monkey, one particular statue always caught her eye.
Four...blocky, for lack of a better word, knights. Frozen in perfect formation, their heads hidden deep within the confines of their helmets. Each one stuck in the same pose, for as long as she'd known them.
And beneath them, engraved into the stone they were a part of, was a simple message.
"Wake us when something fun happens or Celestia stops being a bitch, whichever comes first."

Not exactly new for Twilight. But when the outcome brings forth its own science, the likes of which her nation hadn't even yet dared to hope for, the ponies of Equestria slowly realize that they're in for the adventure of a lifetime.

The problem is, they might just not be ready for the revolutions that technological advancement always brings.

And they're about to get hundreds of years of human science and advancements all at once.

As a forewarning, updates will likely be erratic. I have every intention of finishing this story, it's just that my life has been rather crazy lately as I'm sure many of you can imagine.

Anon likes his life to be simple. He wakes up, goes to work and sometimes gets himself a good book to read while he is home. Jaded Dawn is a Pegasus who was raised amongst the hustle and bustle of the large northern city of Trotsdale. He is seventeen years old, and has recently graduated high school. Jaded soon learns just how much he hates doors, especially when they are being opened by a small dragon.

A Foreign Queen brings her son with her to Equestria, in hopes of him maybe meeting a nice mare because tonight is the Grand Galloping Gala. Unfortunately, he wants nothing more then to get this over with and go home because despite his looks, romance is a waste of time for him. Will he find his one true love? Oneshot
