Rumble and Scootaloo have been friends for a long time. And ever since, Rumble sees her in a different light than he's seen anypony. Nightmare Moon has made an unwanted return, and this time she has her own army. No longer the Elements of Harmony but Team Harmony, an elite protection force for the sun goddess herself, the mane six find themselves in the middle of war. But everything changes when one of them goes rouge. Can they use their new military skills to save their friend and their country?!

After some long and hard years of constant struggle, Scootaloo has finally developed the ability to fly. Now her life's ambition to follow in her idol's hoofsteps is becoming a reality as she has been accepted into the Wonderbolt Academy. Flight school was hard enough, so this definitely won't be a breeze. But that won't stop Scootaloo from doing her best to impress her foalhood hero.

Author's Note: For continuity purposes, this story takes place after The Apple Blooms and before Love is is Bloom, but is otherwise completely stand-alone.

This is the fanfic based on Astringe's Bad Future series on DeviantART. He did some great designs of the characters, so make sure you give that gallery a peruse before you read the fic.

Also worth mentioning, he's been nice enough to plop any pics he does based on chapters I've written into this separate gallery, so there will be less spoilers for readers just jumping in to the story.

NOTE: The canon of my story picks up at the start of Season 3, where it begins to diverge away from the canon of the show. I've never read the IDW comics nor have I seen Equestria Girls, so the events of my story aren't canon at all with them.

On Rainbow Dash's 20th birthday, she meets a boy, not knowing he was Soarin from the Wonderbolts, and they fall instantly in love.

Soon their family's find out and they're not too happy.....

This time there are no villains or unspeakable dangers; there's just war, hate, and ponies giving and taking lives. From the streets of Detrot to the Royal Palace in Canterlot, each pony will rise up against his fellow pony, and one of them will not rise up to see another day.
