The Great and Powerful Trixie returns to Ponyville, nine months after the events of the Alicorn Amulet, but this time she’s not back for revenge. In fact, Twilight Sparkle barely even registers on her radar. Trixie’s actions while under the influence of the Alicorn Amulet have come back to bite her in the flank.

Sweet Apple Acres is going to be receiving a visitor, and maybe, a little something extra.

Takes place between seasons 4 and 5.

The original idea for this story was… conceived by the great and talented writer Crystal Moose. My Humble and Meager skills were used to finish this story past chapter 5, so please forgive me for mutilating Crystal Moose’s concise prose with my florid non-sense.

Prom season sucks for Big Macintosh. He wants nothing to do with it at all. While down at the lake to collect his thoughts, he meets Sunset Shimmer, a fellow classmate who is also fed up with dances. They might have come to be alone, but their company is far better than solitude could have been.

What happens when you get caught red-handed drinking out of a milk carton at your friend's house by her older brother? Sunset Shimmer is about to find out.

It's been two weeks since the Fall Formal. Sunset Shimmer has tried her best to show everyone that she's changed, but only her friends believe her. In order to show her she's been forgiven, Applejack invites Sunset on a family road trip. Sunset finds herself bonding with the Apples and finds herself falling for Big Macintosh. As Sunset tries to fix her life and lets her guard down around Big Macintosh, Trixie and Lightening Dust try to make sure Sunset doesn't succeed.

Big Macintosh and Twilight Sparkle are happily married and expecting their first child. This keeps Big Mac busy and unable to work as much at Sweet Apple Acres. So they seek outside help in the form of cousin Braeburn. The Appleoosan native decides to bring his best friend, Malady "Mal" Wesson, along which doesn't please Applejack as he used to pick on her when she was a little filly. Pinkie immediately befriends Braeburn, and it's easy to see sparks flying between the two. For the first time in her life, somepony asks Pinkie what she would do, instead of her just going along with what every other pony wants; and she doesn't know how to deal with this. Meanwhile, Applejack finds herself developing feelings for her childhood tormentor; and she can't stand it!

This is the third story in my TwiMacVerse. I highly recommend reading the first two stories in the series if you haven't already. Malady Wesson is a character from my story, My Little Wasteland, but that story is not connected to this continuity so you don't have to read that story to know anything about the character. 'Doctor Whooves' and 'Roseluck' aren't who they seem. Indeed, barely anypony really knows who they are or where they came from. All they know is that their arrival was rather sudden. One morning, without warning, there they were ready to join the Ponyville population. There wasn't anything suspicious about it, of course. Many, many ponies come to live in Ponyville rather suddenly. That's how it's always been.

It's been two weeks since that day, and while Rose Tyler seems to be adopting the pony lifestyle rather well, the same cannot be said for her alien companion. With no way of escape, what will their lives become in paradise?
