When Equestria accidentally opened a portal to another world, they discovered a new species: humans. Their arrival changed the world. For the Equestrian Ponies, it heralded a great cultural and technological jump needed from their stagnating way of life. For the Gryphons, however, they represented something baser: an opportunity to increase food stock and finally have a 'friendlier' predator species to ally themselves with.

For Gilda, one of the the humans was Ancestor-sent, a soul she would protect for bringing much joy to her life. And when a chain of events force her to accompany her human to Equestria, she recalls the circumstances of their meeting, the trials they pass through, the friendship forged through fire, and love born out of understanding under the harsh skies of the Kingdom.

Novel Tale is an author that's been living in Canterlot for about ten years now. That's a pretty good track record for a changeling. Discord has lived for quite a long time. Centuries as a ruler, a millennium as a rock, years as a reformed draconequus, it all gets very tiring. A nap is exactly what he needs. But when you live forever, time loses its meaning, years pass in the blink of an eye, mortals come and go like mayflies. And that's fine.
After all, any being that is truly important will live forever. Discord would never associate with anything less.

Every department has them. The standouts. The supercops. The other guys. And for some reason, there's always one or two of THEM... a pair of loose-cannon cops who refuse to play by the rules, taking the law and throwing it in cuffs right alongside every mook and petty criminal they've apprehended on the mean streets of Ponyville.

These are the reports of two such officers in the Ponyville Police Department, Officer Cherry n' Berries and Officer Dodge Charger. Two officers that seem as determined to uphold law and order in town as they are to rip the place to shreds, upholding the hell out of law and order in town.
