Well, I finally put out Chapter 19, and hopefully I'll get 20 out soon. These two chapters have been sitting in my Google Drive for months. They were already pre-read and looked at, but I couldn't publish them until I made sure that the following chapters afterwards were going to the direction I wanted. I now have a vague idea where to go, but without writing for that amount of time, I think I may have gotten some sort of writer's rust.

Okay, my rust is really showing. It took me months to finally get this FH chapter done, and I fell short of my aim of making it at least 5000 words. This is a potentially short blog just to inform everyone that I'm working on Feathered Heart. It's reaching around 3.500 words, and I'm hoping to reach around 5,000 for the chapter. I'm beginning to notice that my word count is slowly decreasing, but I also noticed that each chapter is moving things forward. I try to add a bit more information here and there, but I realized that moving the story forward is a bit more rewarding, and adding details in between that is challenging.

Well, after... three months? I finally finished my draft of chapter ten of Feathered Heart. It's sitting in 5.5K words, a little shorter than my usual wordcount of the last chapters (except the prologue). I'm hoping I still have it, being almost inactive for weeks.
