This story is a sequel to Victoria Cello

After a long few months, Victoria Cello returns home to spend some nice sister quality time with Octavia. The two are glad to be back in each other's lives and they hope that won't change anytime soon.

An ancient evil is rising, but with the Elements of Harmony returned to the Tree of Harmony it may be unstoppable. Fortunately for Equestria, there exist other worlds, with their own Harmony magics. Two people from one such world have been brought to Equestria, and will soon have the chance to help save it.

This fic is a crossover with the Ar Tonelico series, a niche JRPG developed by Gust and Banpresto. They’re notable for having a fairly unique setting (thanks to a giant disaster all survivors are living on top of giant magic-tech supercomputers), an oddly feminist tone for a niche JRPG, and really sweet music. (Too bad the third game forgot point two.) Although each of the games are flawed in their own way, I feel like the good outweighs the bad, at least for the first two. After noticing the similarities between certain characters in the series and certain MLP characters I was inspired to write this.

Also there are massive spoilers for Ar Tonelico 1, 2, and probably Qoga but oh well. Studies claim that spoilers actually increase your enjoyment of things anyway! You can find a text LP for the first Ar Tonelico here.

In high Canterlot, there is a pony who is a Prince, but not an alicorn. His friends are what his wealth and splendor can buy. His pride is his name: Blueblood. His vanity and arrogance knows no bounds, his aunt has no idea what to do with him, and his bubble of power and prestige remains secure.

But before that, he was just a very small pony in a very big house, with much life still not lived. This is the story of those days, and all that came after.

Hello, my name is or was Beth. I say was, because something amazing happened to my daughter and me when we went to Everfree Northwest. You see we cosplayed as our OC's of our favorite character from MLP the lord of Chaos Discord. But then there was a flash of light and now we're in Equestria as mother and daughter Draconequus. I just hope we can prove to the ponies that we're not bad and show them sometimes a little chaos is a good thing.

My version of Lauren Faust ending up in Equestria. I probably got her character all wrong. Hey, I never met her, cut me some slack.

So, Lauren Faust is Queen of Equestria in this story. How will she react? How will everypony else react? And what does Pinkie's chimicherrychangas have to do with all of this? One thing is clear already. For Twilight and her friends it won't be the same.

Added AU tag, 'cause someone mentioned it would be safe. And when I think about it, I don't think we ever get to learn who the princesses parents are.

Just a note, this is set during season two. So the events of "A Canterlot Wedding" haven't happened yet.

Important Note: this story is a prequel to The Empty Room. You do not need to read it to understand this story, but bear in mind it happens entirely in a pre-Season 2 AU which has different situations (and some characters) than those that came up in canon after TER was completed.
