To be fair, I just like having a large backlog of things to read, that way, when I do want to read something (and something on the front page hasn't caught my eye), I have a place that I can turn to. Though in all honesty, the main reason is that I see something and say "that's interesting, I know I have like 300+ fics on Read It Later, but I really don't want to risk not being able to find it later", and so the pile keeps growing.

As an aside, do authors get notifications on any bookshelf or just the core ones? Because if its the former... well let's just say I tend to shuffle stories between the shelves a lot.
