Wanting to know if she could have another second chance in the form of a magical do-over Sunset decided to conduct a little experiment with her friends to see if youth really is wasted on the young.

Bored due to there being nothing for her to do, as no Friendship Problems have arisen that have needed her help, Twilight decides to visit her Canterlot High friends and see what's going on.

However, something goes wrong and the portal closes, leaving Twilight stuck on the other side. That's fine though. She can just hang out with her friends and wait it out.

However, it won't be that simple. Though she turned into a human like normal when she arrived, Twilight is now about 6 to 7-years-old and it seems she has access to her magic as if she were still an Alicorn. The human world isn't prepared for this.

AU universe where Friendship Games happened before the Season 5 finale, so Twilight's human self is already transferred into CHS, but pony Twilight has yet to go with Fluttershy on their Friendship Mission.

Rated Everyone for now, but may change it to teen depending on future chapters

Note: Twilight didn't see Sunset's messages in this AU due to them coming whilst she and the girls being away dealing with Starlight, followed by how much she'd been avoiding her castle in the following episode.

Spike is the reason the messages never got answered though, due to Big Mac accidentally knocking the book of it's place on the machine whilst he and Spike were in the library, Spike not being there in time to see it glowing to indicate messages being received, so he just placed it back on there without a thought.

Along the way, she meets an 11 year old boy with white hair named Lincoln Loud, who ran away from home after getting tired of being perceived as bad luck by his insanely superstitious family and forced to wear a squirrel costume for good luck. The two exchange their histories and quickly become good friends. Meanwhile, Sunset's friends, the Humane 5, and their younger sisters, the Crusaders, miss Sunset and decide to go look for her in hopes of completely making amends and rekindling their friendship. They eventually meet the Loud family, Lincoln's parents and 10 sisters, who are out looking for their son/brother. The two groups decide to join forces and help each other find the people they’re searching for and make amends for their mistreatment.

After Luna's banishment to the moon, Princess Celestia swore to protect Luna's infant daughter, Princess Moonlight, and put her into an enchanted sleep only to awaken upon Luna's return.

A simple fairy tale, but one with dire consequences to the Mane Six... one in particular.

Celestia and Sunset's fights were getting out of control so with that in mind both decided to take a break from their mentor/student relationship.

With a lot of time at Sunset's disposition Celestia offers the unicorn a change of pace and perspective and shows her the portal mirror, but this time instead of the Equestria Girls world being at the other side instead Sunset finds a world where magic hids behind secrets and spells.

Accepting the chance to study at the prestigious Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Sunset will find herself in the middle of a war between good and evil; will a unicorn that hasn't been touched by harmony be capable of fighting the addictive power of dark magic or will she become a pillar for Harry and his friends?

What is known is that Hogwarts and the english wizard world are not prepared for the craziness and shenanigans of Sunset Shimmer.
