Rarity comes with Pinkie Pie to her late aunt and uncle's house to help clean. It's a lovely place, except for the otherworldly monsters with questionable taste in music.

Canon divergence:- a timeline where Midnight Sparkle didn't materialise at the friendship games, but the effects still plague Twilight like a bad dream.

After the events of Camp Everfree, Sunset and Twilight go for a walk in the woods to talk about things: life, insecurities and, most importantly, the magic flowing into this world.

For the past six days, the students in the Canterlot area have been dying in their sleep. Aside from how much magic they’re been exposed too, there are no leads into what is causing this. By the sixth night, Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash are the only survivors of their close circle of friends. Can Twilight find a way to keep them alive, before fatigue takes over? Will it even be worth it if she survives?

Deep in the Royal Library is a book. A terrible book that is said to send whoever reads it mad. A book so dangerous that it has to be hidden away and secured with chains to prevent it from ever being opened.

A book which has just been accidently checked out by Spike on behalf of Twilight Sparkle.

The Star In Yellow is rising once more, and only Rainbow Dash and Spike can save Twilight before it's too late. Ideas live forever. Ponies do not.

This fic is loosely inspired by the 19th century story 'The King In Yellow'.

A strange book written in a script not linked to any known language is given to Moon Dancer by a mysterious stallion with dark spectacles and a charming smile. Wary of what lay within yet curious nonetheless, Moon Dancer enlists the aid of her old friend Twilight Sparkle in deciphering the script and unlocking the truth behind the book's origins.

What follows is a detailed account of the endeavor and its tragic and terrifying conclusion, penned by the broken mare who survived to tell the tale.

Sombra was not always the heartless ruler that ruled the Crystal empire with an iron hoof. He once had friends, a home, a lover...
But his thirst for knowledge and power led him down a dangerous road.

By chance or the powers that be, Sombra is deemed worthy of a second chance to correct a thousand year old mistake. History ignores intentions however, only recording actions. Can Sombra find a way to bring peace to his heart and those he cares for, or will the darkness from his past consume him?

Twilight's power, along with that of Celestia, Luna, and Cadance, has been claimed by Tirek. Drunk on power, the demon-centaur is unleashing destruction upon Equestria, his reign of terror just beginning.

But there is hope. A crystalline chest, a gift from the Tree of Harmony, able to be opened by six keys. Keys which Twilight has now claimed the last of. All they can do is hope, hope that whatever is contained inside the chest is enough to stop Tirek.

And then something goes wrong ...
