When Blue Blitz gets transferred to a new school considered snotty and rude, he feels uncomfortable. BUT, with the introduction to an awesome girl, he finds out that he had someone to depend on... and to love. Indigo Zap was her name, and being awesome was her game. Blitz was cool, too, so why not give it a shot? She was actually nice and awesome, after all.

It's Halloween in Canterlot Heights and spooky fun is in the air. Indigo Zap receives an exclusive copy of the short film My Best Friend's a Zombie her older brother made for a film class. So she and some of her friends decide to invite themselves over to and spend the night at Sour Sweet's house (despite them not asking permission beforehand and her already being sick in bed with a cold) to watch it on her new TV.

However, some accidental underage drinking (courtesy of some "mocktails") a blackout and a sick Sour Sweet's fluctuating emotions lead the girls to believe that their friend has turned into a zombie and they must try to stop her.

College has a way of separating friends, which is why having a girls' night out with some of your best friends is so important. Although the morning after can be a little more to be desired. Specifically if one happens to wake up completely nude in a strange house. Such a state can cause more questions than answers, but luckily Sour Sweet is with her best friends. Indigo Zap and Lemon Zest's hike in the woods takes a turn for the weird when Lemon suddenly disappears and Indigo notices something lurking amid the trees.

Twilight Sparkle is the best student at Crystal Prep Academy, and while she’s pretty happy with her situation, her unofficial big sister, Cadance, keeps telling her to try and make friends. It never seems to go well for her, until Cadance convinces her to tutor the new student at Crystal Prep, Sunset Shimmer.
