I was always curious about the sirens and their origins. This fic is my way of exploring that curiosity.

Sunset lost everypony she cared about in a house fire, escaping from an orphanage to face the streets of Canterlot by herself after deciding she would rather be looking after herself.

Lyra's the filly of a rich family, dumped on the street after her family decided she wasn't going to live up to her family name. When Sunset finds the filly abandoned in an alley, Sunset shares some bread she stole with Lyra. Together, the two fillies find a way to survive together.

The days go round and round...

Adagio sat alone, with nothing to show for it. The all powerful siren had never felt so useless.

What changed? Why was it so difficult to write a single song now?

It's only been a month.

It's two in the morning.

Twilight can't sleep.

A tribute to my late dog, Cody.

Princess Celestia watches once more as a tragedy she could have prevented is performed before her eyes. The main character in such a play? Sunset Shimmer. The lead support? Princess Mi Amore Cadenza.

Throughout her rule Princess Celestia had but a singular motto. For on the morrow, the Sun will once more rise across Equestria. It was a declaration, an ideal, a promise, and a warcry. That she would always seek an ever brighter future for her ponies.

There were those such as Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, Cadance, who had accepted such promises and used them to fuel their purpose. Capturing such warmth and allowing themselves to act as another beacon to guide those around them.

Then there were those ponies who had refused such a promise instead, choosing to strike out on their own path. Sunset Shimmer the instigator of the most recent tragedy, Princess Celestia's own daughter was one such pony.

The love of a mother is put against the love of a ruler. For the monster has been captured after it had slaughtered so many subjects. The trial has yet to begin but the verdict has already been decided.

Sunset Shimmer is no spring chicken, that much is for sure. Her best days are a long, long way behind her. Content to live in the human world without settling into any sordid romances, she set her scientific mind to good use, and pursued a career that left the world in a better state than it was when she first arrived. A lifetime ago. But nobody, not even an equine-turned-human, is immune to the passage of time. And as an elderly Sunset settles down to enjoy a quiet evening on the porch of her small cottage, an old friend pays one last visit.

Twilight starts to develop new powers after her brother's wedding, more things happened during the wedding that were not shown to us that time.

Twilight discovers that she has a beast with an incredibly high power named "Kurama..."
Now she must learn how to use it cope with all the problems she has and face the enemies, and the most important thing...who is her real family and what is the truth of Equestria?

English is not my maternal language, however I already have experience writing stories, I hope you like this story, it is a different version/rewrite of my previous story titled the same.
