[A CANTERLOT WEDDING [FIRST ARC] ]

—Trauma and the power of the lavender pony—






Everything started to become cloudy, I was right about Cadence...
She isn’t the same loving foal sitter I remember. How stupid I was?

Is Cadence really evil? No.... She is not Cadence, her normal magic is turquoise blue, also her attitude is the opposite to her. The one who is taking Cadence's place is doing it wrong, anyone who knew her would realize it. I could have gone to Princess Celestia, but the same thing would have happened anyway. Then, why my mentor, Spike, even my brother, why didn't they listen to me? They know her well, she is the niece of Princess Celestia, but why, all they did was to leave me behind. Where was the magic of our friendship?

Did they discard everything they learned? Did they just "ignore" it? No, I don't understand.





She was tired, her eyes were swollen from crying while her heart was pounding at high speed, in a situation like this...you can't show any weakness .

No matter how hard she tried, she would still feel useless, she was broken, it was her fault...it was her fault for losing those she loved the most and bringing this kingdom to disgrace and misery, she would never forgive herself, however, in spite of these fragile feelings she felt something else: hatred... She felt hatred, she felt angry and frustrated, they didn't believed her, she didn't know how to fix it.

She felt hate, she felt angry and frustrated, they never believed her, she didn't know how to fix it, she was upset with Celestia, for making her do her job, the lavender pony understood that as a princess, Celestia should be very busy...But now she had her beloved sister, then why did she have to do all the work? - those were the lavender pony's thoughts.

Her horn glowed in the darkness that emanated from the place, the lavender pony could see her own reflection in the crystals that lay near her...her worries were growing with each passing second, she needed to find a way out quickly

—Hello? Is anyone there?— The lavender pony asked as she walked across the cold glass pavement, soon she was interrupted by a laugh that gave off evil. —Where am I?— Twilight asked, she turned her eyes to all sides to look for the person responsible, however her suspicions culminated when she saw who it was.

"Cadance..." She thought as she watched the pony appear in the glass.

—How silly...You're in the caves beneath canterlot, once home of unicorns who where ambitious, stupids who wanted the gems that anypony could found here, and now...your prision— The fake Candace said, Twilight screamed for help

—That's useless, no one can hear you...no one will come looking for you since everyone has forgotten that these caves exist, why would they look for someone as insignificant as you?— The impostor said with a grin on her fsce

—W-why? — Twilight muttered angrily, the impostor just looked at her with a big joking smile on her face.

—It's funny, besides, it's ideal for anyone who wants to interfere with my plans....— she said while she was looking at Twilight, Twilight's eyes widened at this comment

—What fucking plans?...What are you talking about?!— she shouted angrily, she threw a lightning bolt at him but his figure simply changed and appeared at a different place.

—I didn't know a nerd like you could have such a sweet mouth!— She said with a mocking tone showing her irony at the problematic situation and the tense atmosphere that had formed.

— You still haven't answered my question!— After saying this, the figure of the impostor disappeared, but in the blink of an eye she appeared in front of her and pushed her against the wall.

—Do you think I'm stupid enough to tell you my plans...if you want to know so much...those plans are for your dear brother— Twilight remained inexpressive at the comment, she stared at the imposture and then pounced on it, lightning struck and shattered the crystals.

—You brainless old witch!, Don't you dare hurt my brother or any other pony!— Twilight said and tried to break out of his grip, she used her horn to create a mini explosion. 

—Agh, you filthy brat, after what they've done to you you still love them, you're a disappointment— The impostor said as she transformed into her original self, Twilight watched in fright and tried to run.

—I didn't know Celestia had such a cowardly student, it'll be great to play with you— She said as she ran and launched a magic powered attack near Twilight's chest, Twilight got up and teleported away. 

—Shut up repugnant bug!— Twilight said while trying to dodge the attacks, she tried to hit the impostor but failed. 

—I've had enough...it's so boring to play with you, and it's so easy to outwit the guards, especially you, the most loyal student Celestia has ever had— The bug said while taking advantage of Twilight's distraction to hit her in the chin. 

—Gah...— She said as the blood ran down her mouth, the blood was illuminated by the glow emitted by the bugs that hit the crystals. 

"stand up...you can do this..."

—You will be a pain in my ass in the future...even if you are weak you are helpful, the elements won't work as long as one is missing...I'm fed up with you— The disgusting bug said as it approached Twilight, she hit the back of its neck and knocked it out, soon two bugs smaller than her appeared at her side 

—Queen Chrysalis...Where should we put brat?— One of the guards said as he picked up the lavender unicorn and placed handcuffs on her legs to immobilize her.

—Leave her here, she will no longer be a headache in the future, I have made an effort to hit her in one of the most important places for unicorns...she is tired and won't be able to do anything—Chrysalis said while wiping off the dirt. 

—What if she wakes up and recovers?— he other guard asked as he carried her with his other partner.

—Hmp, probably, torture her until her mind is considerably damaged, but not so much to use her in my favor against this war— Chrysalis said with a smile. 

—Yes ma'am—Her two servants/guards nodded, Chrysalis just hurried them, since she needed to prepare for the special day, the most awaited one...her dream.





Then Twilight started to awake, she was tired, she wanted to fight, she wanted to stand up, she wanted to get out of this, and save everyone, she couldn't think anymore because she fainted, not only because of the impact, but because of the punched that the bug had cast, everything was spinning in Twilight's mind, she had never felt this, it was very new for her, she just wanted to wake up, but she couldn't. It was like she had gone into a paralysis …

When she woke up she was in a forest, the moonlight filtered through the shadows and figures of the large woods. Her head was spinning, the wind blew her hair and gave her chills on her neck, when she turned around she could see the blood scattered on the grass, the smell was mundane and disgusting, it was the smell of death.

Twilight opened her eyes and looked in horror at the blood, the path seemed to be lit by the trail of blood, she followed it and ran as fast as she could, soon she found herself in canterlot, her eyes widened like saucers as she saw the scene in front of her.

Spike's throat was slit, a gem next to him with a card, blood was splattered all over the walls, his eyes were maggoty, rotten and hollow, part of his face was mangled, only his flesh and bones could be seen next to the blood.

Twilight was going to vomit, her younger brother, her best friend was dead in front of her eyes soon tears fell like waterfalls she screamed, her eyes fell on the fuchsia eyes of Princess Celestia, her brother, her friends and...Cadance 

—Because of you, Spike is dead— her friends said, each with insults and sorrow

—You're the worst sister in the world, you betrayed me and ruined my special day— Shining said as he glared at her and told her what a bad sister she was, Twilight was shocked.

—NO, I DIDN'T WANTED TO DO THAT—Twilight screamed desperately to explain as the scenes of death flashed in her head over and over again.

—You're the worst student I've ever had in my life, don't even think you're going to move on to your next lesson, because my ties with you end today—Princess Celestia said angrily as she tore up the friendship reports, everyone looked at her with hatred and contempt.

—It's your fault Twilight, because of you he is dead, and me...too—Cadance said to Twilight, everyone had lost the sparkle in their eyes, the light that illuminated them disappeared completely.

Then Twilight was taken by two guards to a dark place, where the stellar mantle of the moon could not embrace her. They chained her...soon after came all those people she loved the most at some point, she hated them, but she could not say anything because they beat her hard 

She felt her bones separate and break, she felt as if she was thrown into the coldest sea in the world, as if 1000 knives pierced her body, her mind filled with memories of a death that wasn't, she screamed for help, however...no one heard her

She shuddered at the scene that was happening in front of her eyes, she felt dead, but from one moment to another she felt her magic flowing, her anger, her...hate, she felt like killing them, but she had such a big heart that she couldn't do it, she still loved them and that's why she couldn't do it.

her irises narrowed and her eyes changed to a red color, her magic enveloped her body with a devastating fire that burned her body and the chains, the chains became lifted, they melted like ice before the fire, she grabbed her head because of the pain, that devastating fire expanded and created a wave that broke several crystals, then she fainted.





When she woke up she could see the chains shattered like broken glass, they were burnt, she shuddered as she remembered it all, but was surprised to see that she wasn't there, she wasn't in the dungeon, she was back in the caves, was it all an illusion?...if that was it, why did it feel so real?

She could swear it all felt real, her emotions were real too, but she couldn't understand why the chains were burned and broken, it was all supposed to be an illusion, but the chains weren't...it was unreal.

Her sight cleared little by little she tried to stand up and she made it, her chin was supposed to be broken, but now it looked as if it had been healed, all her bruises were gone, what did not disappear were the dirt and stains of dirt and coal, it still hurt, but that was gone now.

She walked softly and hid her magic so they wouldn't find her, still her magic was exhausted, so it wouldn't make much difference, as she walked she could see some broken glass on the floor, some time later, as she continued walking she found several guards on the floor passed out, knocked out and bruised, not so much as to be serious, but enough so they wouldn't wake up for a few days 

She took the opportunity to run, however she was stopped by a crystal...but that crystal wasn't there before, someone had made it, but how?...she decided to ignore it, maybe she would be exhausted without magic, but she needed to move forward, she charged her magic in her horn and cast a beam at the crystal 

The smoke dissipated and she could see a figure, Cadance...it was her...now she couldn't trust anyone, maybe that bug had found out and had passed for Cadance again, she had finally caught that bug bitch, now she was going to finish her and this. 

—You won't scape!— Twilight threw herself at Cadance. 

—No... NO wait Please, it's me Cadance, Twilight please...don't hurt me— pleaded a hurt and exhausted princess.

—Ha, yes do you think I’m going to believe that?— Said an angered lavender mare. 

— Please Twilight, you have to believe me, I've been imprisoned just like you, the Cadence that brought you here is an imposter— Pleaded Cadance. 

—Great story, who would believe you?, even if you changed your personality you still the same fucking bug— Twilight was about to charge a lightning bolt and strike her. Standing shakily Cadance began to sing that old melody 

—Sunshine sunshine ladybugs awake, clap your hove and–… –Do a little shake—they finished it together. Twilight thought that the glow and warm she was longing for came back. 

—Cadance...I missed you— It really was her, Twilight couldn't help but smile at the memories of her and cadancd together when she was porthole, however she couldn't help but remember what they did to her in the illusion, but that cadance was that bug, the cadance that was in front of her was the one she knew, the real one.

—Truly I do, how could I forget the filly I loved to sit the most?...— said a happy but battered love princess.But immediately the princess's face changed when she saw some strange marks on Twilight's face 

—What's the matter?— Twilight blurted out, not wanting to worry anyone, after all she is useless and doesn't want to do any more harm.

—Oh my god, are you okay?!—Cadance said with concern as she saw Twilight's face, the lavender pony was surprised by Cadance's great concern. 

"Did I do something wrong?" Twilight thought, —I am fine...why are you looking at me like that?— Twilight asked 

—I don't want to worry you but...have you seen the marks you have on your face, I mean...you look like a cat and yet...you have blood— Cadance said with concern as she approached Twilight and looked at her wounds and her new marks.

—Cadance, no offense but I think you are hallucinating, being in this cave for a long time affects our brain a lot, although you are not the only one—Twilight murmured so that the alicorn would not hear her, even though it did not help much.

—How long have you been in this cave Twi?— Cadance asked uneasily as she tried to stand up.

—I've lost track of time...but I think 1 day, if we keep walking we'll get to the wedding soon to stop the invasion— Twilight said with determination, she didn't know what was going on with her, but she wouldn't give up. 

—Invasion?!—Cadance asked in anguish, if it wasn't for the lavender pony lying next to her, she would probably faint. 

—That's the only explanation why that bug took your place—  Said Twilight with a small smile

—Something else happened with him while I was gone?—she asked curiously.

—Nope, but I want to know how you got here— she answered, they both looked directly at each other before Cadance spoke again.

—I think that we should  talk about that later, we have a mission— She said, then the lavender mare spoke again

—yep, then we'll have to talk about that after...you know—Twilight said, she carefully stood up and offered her hoof to Cadance to help her up, Twilight couldn't help but notice that Cadance was with malnutrition, she had probably been here 5 days, and no one had noticed the impostor

"What are you going to do then?" a voice said, Twilight was surprised at this deep male voice, that grim voice came from somewhere

—D-did you hear that?— Twilight asked curiously as she looked around, Cadance just looked at her with uncertainty at how Twilight was acting.

—I haven't heard something...I think this cave is affecting the brain, let's go Twi— Cadance said as she walked next to Twilight, Twilight just nodded and they walked towards an exit.






[ CANTERLOT CASSTLE, BRIDESMAIDS PREPARATION ROOM ]
—1 hour before the wedding.—


The mane five were dressing up, getting ready for the weeding. Cadence has named them as her substitute bridesmaids because her original ones suddenly got sick, something about intoxication with daffodil sandwiches or something like that, so Rarity was running to make them ‘acceptable bridesmaids’, and in Rainbow’s and Applejack case decent looking mares (Rarity’s own opinion).

—Look, the egghead left a letter.— Said a ‘almost ready’ Rainbow Dash.

—Is she coming? Yes? Yes? Yes? Tell me yes, it would be great if Twi comes!— asked Pinkie Pie while skipping.

—Ugh, Pinkie, the egghead is not coming, whatever— Answered Rainbow reading the letter bored.

—You guys, I don't know but don't you think we should be worrying about Twilight? I mean.— Asked a concerned Fluttershy.

—What? C'mon Flutters don't be like that, the egghead left because she was jealous or something— Dismissed Rainbow.

—Rainbow, why are you acting this way? I won't put up with it, the way you treat Twilight is wrong, besides behave like a lady.— Huffed Rarity, trying to comb Dash wild mane. 

—I think Fluttershy is right, remember about lesson zero?— Said Pinkie.

—Umm...girls, but it was because of twilight that we are here— Said Fluttershy.

—Yes, Fluttershy is right, Twilight was the one who brought us all together, besides being without her is horrible, the party I worked so hard to make is nothing without her …—said Pinkie.

—Pinkie, it wasn't our decision for Twilight to leave, it was her decision, she left us, drop the issue and accept it— Interrupted an angry Rainbow.

—Hold on Rainbow, I have to accept that you are right in that. But perhaps we were to hard with her, leaving her behind alone after yesterday’s night thing …—said Applejack as she looked at the others.

—Wait just a moment, Rainbow maybe you're right, but we're still her friends, aren't we?—asked a concerned pink mare.

—Hn, but she left us, if she was our friend she wouldn't have reacted like that and if it wasnt for her probably i would be in the Wonderbolt's team, indeed I have bigger fish to fry— Huffed Rainbow.

—Yes, let's get on the road, we cannot be late in the wedding, we are the braidsmares after all. Exclaimed Applejack.

—Girls, what ... what's wrong with you? Twilight and you are supposed to be friends.— Asked a horrified Spike, coming to the room dressed and ready to be the ring’s colt. 

—Spike, sorry...but that's the reality, you're going to come with us now?— Rainbow said annoyed. 

—I don't know...— He said, He was thinking, he didn't want to leave his friends, but he didn't want to betray Twilight, his thoughts were interrupted by the voice from the side. 

—Make up your mind, spike— Rainbow waited for his answer, however, Spike would leave the place, he didn't care what the others said, he knew Twilight very well, he wasn't going to let anything bad happen to her, now he would look for her and bring her back. 

"I dont think that you could left me, maybe you have to think about it, please, Twilight, come back" tough Spike while he was going out of the room.

“This day is going to be perfect

I'll be there very soon” singed Cadance running with Twilight trough the tunnels of the mine.

Finally, the moment has arrived

For me to be one lucky bride

He'll end up marrying a fake

[ CANTERLOT CASSTLE CHAPPEL ]
— Wedding time —


Wedding bells sounds, midday sun shines brightly illuminating the palace's beautiful chapel, its light streaming in through the beautiful decorated-glass windows commemorating historical milestones from the reign of the almighty and beautiful Princess Celestia. The princess was ready, at the altar where she would officiate the ceremony, a beautiful smile adorned her face, today was the day her beloved niece would marry the love of her niece’s life, her gallant captain of the royal guard. When all the guests were finally ready to start the ceremony, Princess Celestia cleared her throat, and with her Canterlot royal voice she started the ceremony. —Mare and Gentlecolts, we are gathered here to witness the union of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza and...—

At the exit of the Canterlot mine, Cadance was crying hopelessly. —We're never going to save them, everything is lost.—

—Don't give up yet Cadance, remember what you and I used to say when we were little?" reassured Twilight. —Y-you and- obbed Cadance. –You and me against the world and no one else— Twilight hugged the bruised bride trying to give her some hope. 

—Twilight, I don't know what to do?— said Cadance.

—Don't worry, we just have to find a... way to reach the ceremony! I've got an idea.— Then Twilight would have teleported Cadance with what little magic she had into that hole (exit) if it wasn't for three mares, the former bridesmaids.

—You are not going anywere— the three mares growled as they stood between the two captive mares and the exit from the mine.

—Ughh, right... it couldn't have been that easy, emm.— Cadance grabbed some of the flowers growing in the wall and tied with some lace she found near a bunch of old tools and placed the ‘bride’s bouquet’ in front of the bridesmaids. 'Perfect'

She exclaimed satisfied with her work’s result. She showed the bouquet to the bridesmaids. —Hey, look at the bride's bouquets.—She yelled. 

—A flower bouquet, you don't think they will fall on that?— Asked Twilight not so sure about the plan. 'Ughh, right... it couldn't have been that easy, emm.' thought Cadance.

—I know, but Nope, and as I told you that it's no ordinary bouquet of flowers, it's from the bride.— Said Cadance as she threw the bouquet of flowers to another place, those bridesmaids would go after the flowers. 

—Easy, simple and cheap— said a satisfied bride. —If you want it...go get it— said Cadance. The eyes of the bridesmaid followed the bouquet while flied to the other side of the mine, and then 

—WE WANT IT—they yelled and as a group of cats on pursuit of a rat, they run, bumping each other while yelling. "I'll get it.", "No, me!", "Shut up! I'm the one who's gonna get it!"

—Hahaha, that's funny but we have to leave quickly, it won't take them long to figure out it's a plot— Laughed the little mare at the simple but effective plan. —Yes, you're right. answered Cadance.

While running, Cadance have noticed that Twilight was depressed, she wouldn't ask for now, as they got closer, she has seen that Twilight was... she didn't know how to express it, she looked upset, sad, happy, it was like she had a lot of emotions right now.

—Hey Twi— asked Cadance. 

—Cadance? what's going on, did you see her, did you see any enemies?!— asked a hurried Twilight while looking for any trouble near them. 

—No Twi, I just feel like there's something you're hiding from me.

—No, nothing's wrong— said Twilight.

—Twilight, tell me what's wrong— asked a concerned Cadance.

—Nothing's wrong.— Answered Twilight.

—Seriously Twilight, I know something is wrong, you know you can trust me, tell me is something wrong?—insisted the princess.

—Nothing's wrong, stop asking me!—answered an angry and ready to cry Twilight.

—Twilight I...— Cadance tried to apologize to Twilight, just to be stopped by said mare. —Just stop it! Okay?!

—All right but remember that you can trust me.—Cadance tried to conform her.

Back to the chapel, Princess Celestia was ready to unite her beloved nice and her captain with the marriage bond. —Princess Mi amore Cadenza and Shining Armor it is my great pleasure to pronunce you...

—STOP!— A mare voice yelled from the door of the chapel.

*All astonished*

"Who is she?'''Is she opposing the wedding?'''Is she the sister?'''Don't be ridiculous, she's not the sister, if she were, she would have been here before'''Surely she's the lover'' The guests argued, still surprised by such an abrupt interruption.

The Mane 5 would stare at Twilight in with a complete incredulity.

—Twi...Twilight" Spike spoken. —That's her...— said Applejack. —Twilight, but I thought she leaved the wedding because...— asked a surprised Rarity to a more surprised Fluttershy. —Oh, and now what? what the egghead wants now— huffed Rainbow Dash. 

—Why does she have to be so possessive of her brother!— The impostor yelled. —And why?! why do you have to ruin my special day, we invited you because you are his sister, we were friends, I took care of you when you were a filly, and you still pay me back like this?!— Fake Cadance cried.

—Shut up bug, you are not the real Cadance— growled Twilight.

—Cause I am, and it's not your especial day, it's mine— growled the angry and bruised true bride.

—Twilight stop this at once, you're going to go to court if you object— Princess Celestia tried to put order to that.

—I have proof here... DON'T YOU SEE?— asked Twilight to everyone.

—But... but how did you escape from my guards and the chains, what about the bridesmares?!— asked a surprised impostor.

—Bridesmaids fake bouquet— answered the love princes smugly.

—Clever, I’m surprised, but I have to tell that you're still too late, i thought you would be late— said the impostor bride.

—I don't, I don't understand, how can be two of them?!— spoke Applejack trying to grasp the situation.

—Maybe is a trick... or something …— Rainbow answered to Applejack while shrugging.

—Stay away from her, she's a changeling, old enemies from Equestria— yelled Twilight.

—And you have nothing to prove it, how will we know it's me, or in this case you who would be the changeling? eh?— answered the impostor.

—Because you have no ethics, you are nothing like me, besides... you only take advantage of all of the ponies— yelled back Cadance.

—No, you don't look like me, I’m the real, probably you are somepony else— claimed the impostor.

—NO, she takes the form of somepony you love, and gains power by feeding of your love— said the true Cadance.

Then a green flash began to come out of her eyes and hooves, everything lit up to the point that they could hardly see, the impostor was cracking her skin like a shell, her eyes were a bright green and an emerald color. —Hahaha, right you are PRINCESS, and this has only just begun...
