This story is a sequel to Shadow’s in Equestria: A Sonic the Hedgehog/MLP Crossover

Surge the Tenrec and Kit the Fennec are two of the latest villains to confront Sonic and Tails. Both are missing their memories and have no sense of true purpose. Feeling out of place, they decide to destroy heroes and villains alike.

One day, as the diabolical duo was fighting Robotnik's forces, their creator Dr. Starline activates a machine that uses the power of the Warp Topazes to initiate warping, only for it to backfire and hit both Surge and Kit by mistake. The villains wake up to find themselves in another world all together. While exploring their new surroundings, Surge and Kit come across a familiar black and red hedgehog.

Following the event of Mirror Magic, Starlight Glimmer went back to Equestria. Much to Sunset's surprise, she soon came back as a transfer student at Canterlot High. But there seemed to be something odd about her friend. It was like she was a completely different person from the one she met...

Starlight Glimmer failed to wrest the Magic Mirror from Juniper's grasp. She failed to convince her of the error of her ways. Instead, Juniper Montage sucked her into the Void just like Sunset and her friends. There was nothing to stop her after that.

As the Void filled up with more and more people facing the fate of a featureless eternity, Starlight discovered a method of escape, of sorts. Juniper banishing the other magical artifact users meant they had access to the Memory Stone, which Starlight could use to craft an interior world of a shared dream among the Void's inhabitants. A temporary solution, to pass the time until the day they could all escape the Void altogether.

But what if that day never comes?

Lucas Turner should have felt happy at CHS. The classes were easy, the kids were nice, and the girls were kinda hot. Everything was perfect. But lately, he's been hearing some wierd rumors. Portals to other worlds, the class mates growing wings, and these strange necklaces that these 7 girls wear. Something fishy's going on, and he's gonna find out. Even if it costs him his only friends.

Takes place after Mirror Magic.

Visiting Sunset, Starlight learns that sometimes all it takes is a little hope - and the right moment.
