Surge the Tenrec and Kit the Fennec are two of the latest villains to confront Sonic and Tails. Both are missing their memories and have no sense of true purpose. Feeling out of place, they decide to destroy heroes and villains alike.

One day, as the diabolical duo was fighting Robotnik's forces, their creator Dr. Starline activates a machine that uses the power of the Warp Topazes to initiate warping, only for it to backfire and hit both Surge and Kit by mistake. The villains wake up to find themselves in another world all together. While exploring their new surroundings, Surge and Kit come across a familiar black and red hedgehog.

The days go round and round...

Adagio sat alone, with nothing to show for it. The all powerful siren had never felt so useless.

What changed? Why was it so difficult to write a single song now?
