I did some things I regret in my life, both as a pony and as a human. They're mistakes that will probably leave traces in some form for the rest of my life.

But that doesn't mean I won't try to change. Even if the past does follow me wherever I go...

(First person, Sunset's POV, set after the events of Rainbow Rocks)

EDIT: While this was initially started as just a quick thing I wrote for the Equestria Daily Friend Off that I threw together at the last minute, I have now decided to improve on and expand it.

One night at a get-together with her friends, Applejack learns that not only do her friends find her brother attractive, they've already got dibs on who will try to court the stallion. If they fail, the next mare in line will take her place. With the challenge set, will any of her friends succeed in seducing the stallion? Not if Applejack has anything to say about it!

With the pressure of saving the world on her shoulders once again, Twilight is feeling more than a little nervous. And while Sunset isn't in the same exact situation per say, they find that they have more in common than they thought.

When Maud Pie officially endorses the latest party game to hit Equestria, Pinkie can't wait to share it with her friends.

For the first few years of Twilight's Coronation the world of Equis felt peace, no evil was stirring in Equstria yet to the north east is the powerful Gryphon Empire. The Gryphon Empire is thrown into Chaos as the old king dies. Another takes his throne and that Gryphon isn't the same light heart king that once ruled over the Gryphon people. No in his heart is a blood lust not seen since King Sombra had taken over the Crystal Kingdom. War is coming; everyone can feel the ripples of power flow through and the Princess of Day and Night are called to action against the threat of possible invasion. Other nations feel the threat of war loom over their kingdoms and rush to either side of the fight ready for the first shot that will shake the planet.

Forged Steel is a simple Earth pony that will be thrust into the horrible mix of war and blood shed. A war on this scale had never been fought before and not with any of the new weapons of the advance time. Death will most likely surround everyone that puts on a uniform for the Princess of Day and Night. Maybe there is a greater purpose to it all but Forged Steel will be sent into hell itself.

The neighboring country of Griffonicus has declared war on Equestria. Now ponies are being drafted into the military, including Shining Armor and Flash Sentry. While on the battlefield, they witness unspeakable horrors and the pain and stress of a bloody war.

On the home front, Princess Twilight has to help Princess Celestia and Princess Luna watch over Equestria and keep the nation from splitting apart while comforting and strengthening Princess Cadence and dealing with the own pain she has as she fears the fate of the two stallions she cares for the most.

Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle have hit it off great. They've gone out to countless places, hung out with each other's friends, and never seem to have a problem. They've hit it off so well in fact, that Twilight thinks he might be her 'special somepony', and feels like it's time he was properly introduced to her family. Will all of his training as a soldier help him survive for a few hours with her dad and brother?

A young man with a love of military history and MLP:FIM finds himself dragged into Equestria as war threatens the pony nation.

I got the idea for this story from my Civil War book collection and Altoid's Blood and Guts and Ponies story, as it involves a human coming to Equestria to aid in its defense, partly by modernizing it's military and leading its forces on the battlefield.

Just a warning; the main character is Christian and pro-Union. Just to give people a heads up.

A three arced story that begins slowly as partially Comedy and Slice of life and rotates more towards Adventure and Dark in later chapters.

Some school fillies have to deal with school crushes. Others with bullies. Sometimes they have to deal with both. But no filly has ever had to deal with an Evil Tyrant being bound to their shadow and have the power to control their every action. This, of course, seems to be no big deal for Sweetie Belle who seems to even enjoy the stallion's company. Though the feelings aren't mutual. The small filly reminds the old king too much of a filly he used to know... Though it's strange the only place he'd seen her before are in these strange dreams of his. Recollections of a past he can't remember.

Perhaps Sweetie Belle will awake in him that version of himself before he was a Tyrant. Before he was labeled evil. A time from when he was a father. Perhaps she will help him forgive.
