  Uncultured writer Seeking a French speaker

  Hello again!

  If there is a French speaker/reader who can do a little translation, I'd greatly appreciate it.

  While I 'could' use a translation site, I've found that they sometimes skip little things like grammar and accuracy. English to X doesn't always keep the nuances.

  Should there be such a folk around, the lines are;

  "Ah, Night Light, you sweetheart! Welcome, welcome! It's so good to see you again. And you brought your beautiful daughter - oh! Who is this?"

  Let's try this again.

  Well this is embarrassing.

  So it's been a busy few months and every time I sat down to write, something would pop up.

  It's rather... um...

  Painful? Cringeworthy?

  Either or, to see how long it's been since I posted/replied/wrote anything.

  That will be changing as I've scaled back some stuff and gained actual free time to work on story stuff.

  Fans of Fuzzy Sparkle, fear not. New chapter coming soon. Maybe some other stuff.

  Tis the season...?

  Writing has slowed after country borders were opened and everyone suddenly wanted stuff for the new year.

  The slow half weeks have been replaced with manic 6 day weeks and as we move into summer down here, the conditions are not great for hammering out words. I am not a fan of summer.
