I was telling my therapist about my writing (in very vague terms) and how I really enjoy 'rage against the heavens' as a trope (see also bellikos rising against their creators in that EQ expansion) and they started connecting it to my parental issues.
And it made sense and yet I had never made that connection. It's so weird to observe my own habits and thought processes like that.

The Rainkeeper hasn't seen mention in my story since I decided that having a scene where my protagonist just explaining every god would be really tedious. It's already a meandering slice of life thing, no need to make it worse. Besides, my protagonist is a product of the Underfoot, so doesn't spare much headspace for other gods.
By the mention of Luclin exploding, I assume this is a EQ2 era crossover? I never played the second one, so I don't know much about the world as it is set up in that era.

Well, I done gone and did it. I started an EverQuest story. Not sure it's any good, but as the only other Norrathian on the site, I thought I'd just mention to you that it existed. Sort of.
It's probably not that great, but at least it has 100% more Rainkeeper?
