My grandparents have a toaster that doesn't have a side lever at all. You put the bread in, which bounces the carriage a bit which it picks up on somehow and slowly lowers the bread in. after the cooking time it slowly raises the toast up with a nearly silent hum. It's really quiet, Fluttershy needs one of those.

"THE TOASTER" is awesome. Enough that my co-writer and I couldn't help but include him into our version of Equestria in the Sour Grapes Chronicles, where he is just an invention of a local mad inventor.
Fluttershy is the cutest thing when she's scared, and when she's comparing how scared she is to how scared her friends are.
Heck, anything she does is adorable regardless of the scare factor.
