This is pretty good! Making Chrysalis the monster is pretty clever, nice little bit of world building. No issues with grammar (at a cursory glance), and while I haven't finished yet it's not half bad so far.
Slight suggestion - maybe take "Celestia x Rainbow" out of the title, and put it somewhere in the description? I get what you were going for, but it almost put me off reading the story: having a ship in the title doesn't usually bode well for quality. I'm quite glad to have been pleasantly surprised by this though.

Hm. She could always try and reforge her relationship with rainbow.
Story was decent. Needs editing for spelling, grammar, and punctuation, as well as sentence structure. Story is left rather open-ended as well, with no real resolution for Celestia. I would recommend a sequel focusing on Celestia finding a way to win back the mare she loved -- a love that, in the new timeline, only she knows about.

Well done for working out the monster - some clues are there, but the reveal doesn't come until much later ...
As for the title - I agree it's clunky, but I've seen some stories I thought were good fail to fly and wondered if it was because they didn't reference popular named characters that star in the story. It's a difficult balancing act and I thought hard before experimenting with this title. I am very pleased you took the risk and decided to read it!
I hope you still like the story by the ending!
