Trixie has been hard at work getting her magic up to snuff. It's hard work, but she's made some progress. However, when her friend, Starlight, is busy helping set up Rainbow Dash's birth-iversary, The Great and Powerful Trixie knows she needs to steal the show on this occasion.
How does she do it?
Buying a (possibly illegal) rocket and riding it, of course. Starlight's getting roped into it, whenever she wants to or not.

Yeah, I saw that toy figurine and knew i had to do it. Truth be told, I made this WAY faster than I usually do a story(just two days, most oneshots take three or more), because I felt like I needed to capitalize on this as soon as possible. Wasn't fun, given I'm still working on another project(Spike Finds Love At Last) but it was worth it. Yesterday was one of the busiest writing days of my life. Writing a grand total of 5000 words in a single day is a surreal experience.

Really crazy and fun, mate. It's been awhile since I last read a wack-a-doodles story with Trixie and Starlight, and it was a lot of fun. It is, however, worth pointing out the major err- that Starlight knows a self-levitation spell.
