Friendship hasn't always been an easy thing for Sunset Shimmer. Even with what she's done in the past, she's still found those who care and cherish her. There are still times where she doesn't feel worthy of such friends, though... and it's at those times Sunset visits a particular grave at the cemetery.

When it comes to the world of MLP: EQ, there are some questions that we don't have the full answer too, such as why the magic is effecting things in the world like it is, or just what Sunset is when it comes to being with the Elements of Harmony. This story is one such question that I've yet seen answered.

Good story. And this is one plot thread that definitely needs to be addressed one day.

I'm torn!:raritydespair::raritycry: Is this supposed to be a feel-good story or a sad story?

Damn. For a first story; this is great!

It's a bit of a bitter sweet one. I'd like to think it's the kind of story that can make you smile even while you cry.

Kind of expected it to human Sunset that Sunset was talking to, not that it made things any less sad. :pinkiesad2:

Hehe... well, it's not my first story at all, but my first that I uploaded over here. I don't normally write much in MLP but when I cooked this story up, a friend suggested I post it here.. thus here I am!

Believe or not, that's what sparked this story. With the way things were set up in this fandom, I thought a story like this would have been done already and a LONG time ago. when I found out it hadn't, I decided to try my hand at crafting one.

.....I DEMAND A SEQUEL! I NEED MORE INFORMATION DAMNIT!

Short, sweet and nicely done :P

I wonder what the Human Sunset is actually doing…
And the human Starlight, for that matter…

It definitely got that reaction from me. Kudos to you.

Kinda curious about the background. Was human Sunset dead before she ever got there?

I guessed what the ending would mostly be, but damn did you make a good story. Need to tell the others in my dorm to look out for onion ninjas.

Nice idea for the story. bittersweet in a way.

Also, "it's" means "it is". I think you're looking for "its".

Just something I wanted to point out to help.

Ah, thanks for catching that. for some reason my brain defaults to 'It's' all the time. Thanks for pointing out the mistake, it has been changed!

Ooohh! That was amazing! I didn't see that end coming! When I read it I bawled ! :fluttercry: ~ Mintstar

No worries! Happy to help.

you did a fantastic job and should feel proud of yoursef

*Deep breath*

Okay, ouch.

Yep. That hit the feels.

Oof, kinda late to the party but it still hits hard. Great story though.

To be fair, I kinda dropped out of the fandom for a while. Got back into it in a big way and decided to actually join some groups and put it into the proper folders.

I meant I was late to reading it, but I agree.

Damn, that was pretty sad. And reading this reminded me of a chapter from that one story called 'Fractured Sunlight'.

Honestly never knew of the story Fractured Sunlight when i started writing this story, though I have since read it recently in my hunger for SciSet Stories. Good to know I'm not the only one who was thinking along these lines for the reason why we've not seen Sunset's human counterpart.

Damn. Took me two seconds to realize the ending, but hot damn.

Guau only guau you surprised me but well is a creative form for finish a one-shot.

This was beautiful.

we actually was able to convince

Beautiful story!!!!!

Damn, this hit hard. Also, when did the fall formal take place?

Wait so the person who was dead and sunset was taking to was her human counterpart? Wow, this sure wasn't at all what I expected.

I like the premise and the story. I don't know if the twist at the end was supposed to be one, but due to the group I found it I already knew it, but I liked it nonetheless. Definitely and interesting take that is well executed

In the words of the memorable Alucard, "Fucking called it."
