They'd have done it even if she'd been uninterested in them sexually; both know an expert when they see them and are transfixed with just how badass Ms. Harshwhinny is. They just consider themselves lucky to have a good partner.
In terms of honor in the world-- earth clan maretriarchs and druids or powerful channelers like Mac can last a _long_ time, but only the druids can hand it out (and don't, the few that are left). Otherwise, the best arcane magic has been able to do is add a decade, almost indistinguishable from the advances from normal medical science/magic. Only the alicorns can hand out anything longer, and no one has ever been able to coerce Celestia to add so much as a second. Heroes or hoofmaidens may get decades, but no amount of power or wealth can get you anywhere else.

In her episode, she's shown to be strong enough, to crash through obstacles and doors without trying, she cramps up, if she has to stay still for too long, and she freaks out in small places, make her hyper, and the chaos should be preprogrammed. (Especially in a setting, where hypers aren't common, or if she's an unusually large one)
