Spike feels like a Dragon without purpose and without anything to offer his friends. He leaves Ponyville without warning his friends, in an attempt to find his purpose on his own.
Princess Luna finds Spike and shows him the nightmares that his friends have been having in his absence, in an attempt to convince him to return to Ponyville of his own free will. Spike learns that dreams are the quickest road to the heart.

Most of the dreams didn't really do anything for me emotionally, except Twilight. Even Raritys was too weird and abstract.

I enjoyed the story. Spike thought he was useless and yet thanks to Luna's help he saw how important he really was...well almost. He thinks he is sacrificing his needs yet one's destiny can be found anywhere. One thing is certain, he needs to have a serious talk with Rarity upon his return. Good story I enjoyed it and keep writing. Not necessarily this story but as a whole. Thank you for the fic.

For starters, the times he was always left behind whenever the girls go on adventures or attending parties, meeting each others family members, not to mention he's rarely thank for all he's done for them, they seem to constantly tease & use him for their pranks, they're own selfish needs to make their lives easier, & because he's not like other dragons(not like that's a bad thing & it isn't) but to him that hurts deep down & Spike himself knows that. None the less Rarity doesn't take how he really feels for seriously as well.
