Um. Huh. Shrinking never made sense to me. It has to do with the law of constant mass. But magic seems to work willy-nilly. OBEY THE LAWS OF SCIENCE, MAGIC! How do you shrink molecules? Or, if you are not shrinking them, how are you removing them without damaging the thing being shrunken? How did Rainbow not weigh exactly the same? Mass cannot be created or destroyed. But magic. Just magic. It is magic. No explanation needed.
I just do not understand shrinking. Why did Dash not grab Dust's uvula? If Dash put it in a cobra clutch, Dust would have vomited. Unless Dust was a slut. She may not have a gag reflex.

Were I Dash, I would have tried to dive underneath her tongue. This way I could hack away at the muscles there and Dust couldn't do anything about it. Best case victory and worse case draw.

Though I wish it didn't end like it did. Open endings are fine, but something more definite would be even better in this case (at least IMO).
Hey, remember when the protagonists of stories actually had moral compasses? You know, ethics? And characters weren't unnecessarily flanderized and bastardized in order to force them to be in a specific position even if that specific position didn't make any sense given who they were in the source material? Whatever happened to that?
This is like making Twilight into a tyrant queen just because you want her to be. It didn't make sense in that story, and The same kind of thing doesn't make sense now.

This was a short story as a part of an art pack by a bunch of vore artists. This was meant to accompany some sweet pics of pony throat and swallowed ponies. The moral compass doesn't exist - not because of the author's discretion but because of the subject of the vore pack itself.
'Villainous Delights' highlighted the 'villains' of Equestria shrinking, and subsequently consuming, the protagonists of our lovely show. This was one such idea, of Lightning Dust triumphing over Dash, and morality went out the window the moment they asked Kaidan to write for it :D
It's just a fun little vore fic, not a logical serious fic, y'know? Meant like a little treat, as opposed to a meal.

I must object, I'm afraid. There's good ways to do this and wrong ways, and making Dust into an outright "I wanna kill someone" villain is pushing it. Also, as a personal issue, this isn't the only time Kaiden's done this. "Vore is Magic" is all ABOUT the whole "OOC" stuff with characters destroyed and not acting the way they're supposed to, with contrived situations that are nonsensical and no sympathetic or relatable protagonists to gravitate towards. His work just comes off as needlessly cruel.

Actually, no. I've actually been a voraphile for quite some time. But I don't believe in sacrificing a good story on the altar of fetish feel. The story can have vore elements, or be centered around that fetish, and still be well written.
That was a nice well writen description of the upper part of the digestive system. I don't get why this is a common fetish though. It makes me slightly hungry if anything.

I don't mind the vore content. What I do mind is the very poor reasoning. Also, that unreasonably short 'explanation' on how Dust gets the ability to shrink Dash... And making Rainbow the antagonist... just wat.
In the end, this story has more holes in it than Chrysalis, and that makes for poor reading.

I've never read a story like this before and it gave me the jingles. I bet Lightning Dust ate a full protein meal.
