I was looking forward to reading this, but unfortunately I don't like F/F ships/clop. I'll upvote it anyways, because Rarity.
You know, I always saw Rarity as being someone fated to be unlucky in romance. Like her status and refined grace will invariably attract the wrong kind of attention. The good ones will be scared off; the nasty ones will try to get close.
This story pretty much plays that out; her most meaningful romance involves the exchange of money. As much passion and love as there is, Aloe and Rarity are not equals here.
It's... sad.
Really liked the story, though.
And you have nothing to regret. Congrats on losing your clopfic virginity.

Raripie in particular seems to fit this Rarity, since Pinkie would gravitate towards a friend who struck her as being lonely to cheer them up.

I'd say I had a fairly good turnout for my first clop. I'm a fairly slow writer, but providing I have a decent idea, I think I can pump these out easily enough. This took a week, but it was a good training exercise. I have a shorter one in my head that should be easy to make, but it's going to be a little more controversial due to content, even by clop standards. I could probably knock it out in 3,000 words. It wouldn't be quite as sensual as this one... ah, hell, I'll make it.
As for creating an in-story pocket universe, that makes me a little uneasy. I normally make my one-shots open-ended to provide openings for more stories, but this one I closed up just about all of them. I really don't know what I could do that wouldn't retread old territory. I wouldn't mind making a continuation of this, but I really don't know how.
