The long lost chapter.

The day their son got married was... strange, to say the least. They want some answers. Too bad nopony is telling. And too bad they might not take it well when they find out.

Twilight has gone through the kitchen door of her family home in Canterlot hundreds of times. Next to that door is the family tree, which Twilight rarely took notice of. But when she looks at Applejack's family tree, she recognizes the phrase beneath the dead ponies' names and realizes an anomaly that she had forgotten for a very long time. There's a third name on her family tree, and it bears that phrase.

Written for BaeroRemedy's "I'll Never Forget You" contest, and inspired by a similar experience regarding my own family tree and one of my aunts. Rest in peace, Jean Marie.

After finding out that her parents lied to her Twilight runs away from home and ends up at Celestia's door. Meanwhile, a lonely Celestia is longing for family.

There's a lot of unpleasant surprises that can be found in photo albums. A third pony in what you thought was a private moment, inexpertly applied bodypaint, or just evidence of that time that your mother dressed you up like a burrito.

Twilight Sparkle was expecting to come out of Family Night with a few fresh blushes on her cheeks. What she wasn't expecting was a mysterious pair of wings in her baby pictures.

Hopefully Celestia will have some answers.
