I'm a Proud ABDL mommy. Writer of padded pony fics, a lot of fics about Shining Armor and his mom, several about Rainbow Dash and her family, and far more mom stories than you can imagine.

Cute
Aw.
By far my favorite story on the entire site!
Once more, you totally amaze me with not only how quickly you can write a fantastic story but also do so astoundingly within the boundaries set forth by your commission standards. You certainly have mastery of your mind's communication between yourself and your fingers on the keyboard.
Part of the fun in commissioning you is to see just how much awesome you can get within the boundaries. I see it as inspiration for myself as I, too often, go thousands of words over when I write anything for how my mind keeps inserting 'extras' that are not always necessary.
Each of the tales you've kindly written for me have been above-and-beyond adorable. It takes very little time to immerse yourself into the story and start seeng the animations in your mind.
Some of my favorite parts were when Twilight earned her first star and got all giddy with excitement. I saw that very well and could see Spike ogling over how happy Twi was. The sand castle contest was great, too, for the moment Spike was making a correlation between the 'star' on the castle and trying to communicate to Twilight how he wanted one, too. It shows how his young mind was learning positive behavior while Shining and Twi's 'friendly competition' did more than keep the siblings in-line.
I also liked how we saw some growth by Spike with Twilight. Milestones in growing up can happen anytime and in both big and small ways. In this case, I refer to how Spike used the bed to climb up onto Twilight in the beginning. However he seems to do it by himself towards the middle of the story. Twilight notices this but is likely too young to know how it is yet another step towards the little dragon's progress in his overall development.
Night Lite and Twilight Velvet also showed some great parenting. They definitely were not 'helicopter parents'. They allowed room for their foals to learn while knowing when to reel them in.
I thought more on Cadence and her arrival in the story. Did Shining have a crush on her then? I am sure he may have had some resentment to her as it may have always seemed like she preferred Twilight to him. Though, in time, this did become more.
Oh, and great line about Shining being all 'Yuck!' over getting a kiss from his mom. Twilight Velvet's thoughts on how he'd change his feelings about it when he had a foal of his own certainly are right on the mark not only in canon, but also for anyone who hasn't yet known the true joy of being a parent.
I don't know what to say about this. This was a fun, enjoyable, and heart-melting story.
Don't sorry, baby Spikey. You will be...
in about 12 years or more
Meanwhile, I'm trying to stay alive after getting adoradiabetes from this story. So cute!
Aw, so cute. Don't worry Spike, you'll do it someday!
