Must... resist... urge... to cry...

Happy Veterans Day, and good job on the story.

Lest we forget... Great job on the story. I really enjoyed this story- it shows that there's a reason we wear poppies and remember them. :fluttercry: I also wrote a story for Remembrance Day.

Your story really captures the way families deal with the loss of someone on the battlefield. Speaking from personal experience, this is extremely realistic and well done. This was amazing.:pinkiesad2:

Lest we forget.

Good job, dear author, good job.

I have never shed a tear over a fimfic before this one, and I have read alot of sad stories and this one forced me to hold them back, and I still couldn't. This story is magnificent, I rate it 2000/10

Lest We Forget

RIP

Very well done. I too wrote a story for this day, but about living casualties. You have earned my fave.

This is a very good one-shot.

Lest we forget.

May have all of those lost found peace in their sacrifice.

The Crusaders should have been in this one.

War is not a pretty thing, but these wars were fought for something. The leaders of those times sent their soldiers into battle not to cover up their own stupidity or lust for power but to fight for a real cause. They were not draft dodgers.

I know of a few who have died in service, and I'm linked to all of them indirectly, through my choice to wear the uniform.

Cpl Thomas Zachary Spitzer, USMC - KIA, Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Returned home 4 July 2014.

LCpl John Felix Farias, USMC - KIA.

MSG Pete Collazo, Sr., US Army - EOW 2011. Interred at DFW National Cemetery.

May we never allow ourselves to forget the price paid for our freedom.

This brought a tear to my eye. Thank you. And thank you to all who have served.
