There are those who say that a mark is a portion of the soul made visible to the world. That the mark is destiny, and so cannot be denied. Equestria has existed under the influence of marks for all of its recorded history, allowing the ever-changing tide of icons to guide the way.

But it could also be said that every system contains the seed of its own destruction.

There is one who believes destiny is nothing more than a trap. And there is nothing she will not do to make the world free.

After accidentally turning herself into a stallion from a backfired spell, Twilight 'Dusk Shine' Sparkle frantically seeks the help of Princess Celestia. In Canterlot, Dusk Shine fails to find his mentor, but does find solace from those closest to him.

After Shining Armor dies of old age, Twilight Sparkle must use her cunning to save Cadence from an unwanted marriage. Set in the same universe as Blasphemy.

Long ago, the great unicorn wizard, Starswirl, and his magical colleagues had discovered a magical cave of stories, written by the games – The Cave of Games.

Today, Princess Twilight Sparkle and friends have found the Cave of Games, unlocking the gates of worlds, and have awakened a great power from its thousand years slumber.

Now, the Equestrian Heroes are once again called forth to another adventure, where a great evil threatens the two worlds, and the Power Stars will choose their greatest defenders.

The biggest pop sensation in all of Equestria is coming to Ponyville: NIGHT SHADE! Flurry Heart and Pumpkin Cake have tickets and get a chance to see him in concert! Unfortunately, Nightshade has a very suspicious manager who works for a corrupt music industry, set to control all aspects of their performers’ lives. Will this put a dampening on Nightshade’s relationship with his fans? An old familiar face in the pop music industry may have information that will change everything for Flurry and Pumpkin.

Inspired by the official show, this is part of a fan-made sequel series I created called "Flurry Heart's Story", which documents the adventures of Flurry Heart as she makes friends and faces new and familiar villains, some of which may still be redeemable.

Twilight prepared for her spell. Hopefully the next universe would be more pleasant and would not contain Timberwolves ruling Equestria. The spell was cast, and she found herself some where very dark. Where was she?

Why do I like books? WHY DO I LIKE BOOKS? It should be so easy to answer. It should be the most simplest answer ever to a seemingly easy question. But it's not. It's in fact the most difficult question Twilight has ever answered. She might even explode from it.

Discord has trapped Twilight in a vast, seemingly unending library. This library has a copy of every spell checked book that could possibly exist. Twilight's only way out of the library would be to find the book that explains how to escape. But when every single idea, story, possibility, and random book exists, how can she find the one book that can teach her how to leave this unfathomably large library?

This fanfic is a crossover based on the ideas presented in the short story, "The Library of Babel," by Jorge Luis Borges, and influenced by "A Short Stay in Hell" by Steven L. Peck.

The sequel to this story is also sequel to A Place for Pinkie.
