With Lamman's plan put into motion, an alien horde hurtles through the Warp toward the Centaur system, its soldiers without number and thirsting for violence. Equestria's heroes must find a way to stop them, or the entire planet will be overrun with ease and its inhabitants butchered. While they could afford some pretense of neutrality and disinterest in the fight between the Iron Warriors and the Tau, now it is their world that lay in the crosshairs of the foe. Ponykind will need help to survive, and they look to the forces of Chaos for aid. But is there any hope to be found in the darkness?

Twilight Sparkle has been living in Ponyville for 7 years now. In that time she has faced great challenges, fought greater foes, and made even greater friends. But one day she finds a book. A book she had completely forgotten about. A book she thought had been destroyed. A book of necromancy. Will she submit to the darkness within her or will she stay true to her values and stay in the light; or maybe a bit of both?

An officer in the Manehattan Watch. A loving Husband. Plaything of the mare on the mountain as she weaves her tapestry of lives, thread by thread. Fairlight, the child of fate and pawn of the gods, fights against powers that throw him around like a leaf on a storm swollen river. Strife has been building between Princess Celestia and Princess Luna for years, differences in opinion on ruling have finally caused them to part ways. Realizing that Princess Luna and Princess Celestia aren't perfect, and have both made questionable choices, even if they have all turned out alright, and seeing the argument that caused the final rift between the sisters have led Twilight to also succeed from Equestria.

Now Twilight must rally the ponies of Equestria under her banner, and hope to bring peace and harmony to a land that is beginning to shatter from the strain of a three-way civil war.
