Absentia spent twenty years chained up in the bowels of the cursed Rainbow Factory. For twenty years, she never saw the outside world, left to the mercy of the Factory. But when two foals free her from the clutches of the Pegasus Device, she remembers what it means to fly. As she helps her new friends escape the facility, she has to make a choice.

She chooses to fly.

A unicorn is found guilty of the crime of High Treason, under dubious circumstances, he is sent to be executed by firing squad, his request. His crimes were viewed as against harmony, unity, and above all, the interest of nations.

He will not bear witness to the dawn of a new horizon, but he'll witness something else; the setting of a new flame for something new. He believed he was the spark for that new flame, and when the harshest lights cast down the darkest shadows, so too do those shadows conceal many things in their darkness.

I'm sorry for the first couple of chapters being first-person... but the later chapters switch to a third-person pov, so there's that.

The kingdom of Equestria has been a country loyal to the gods until the current generation, but the gods are not pleased with the current queen.
Queen Luna, tired of serving the gods, has decided to start a rebellion against the authority of the gods.
Princess Sunset Shimmer, adopted daughter of Celestia. Despite having poor health and a weak body, she had a gift, the gift of fortune telling, she had a vision and saw that the fall of Equestria was inevitable, but she also saw that in order for Equestria to be reborn, she would have to sacrifice herself.

Since the first time the cat and mouse met, they've been into some mishaps between chaos and rivaling each out in their quirky and outlandish adventures, being frenemies. However, after being kicked out of the house, the duo instead falls asleep in a garbage can, since Tom's owner has been fed up with their antics. Unsurprising, when Tom & Jerry woke up, they've instead appeared in a new world, one that could lead them to know why they were in the forest, only to explore an Apple Farm, along to explore in this world filled with Ponies.

Set during Season 3 before Twlight becomes an alicorn.

Written for May Pairings Contest 2022. The pair in question is Posey and Tree Hugger (non-romantic).

I'm not fully satisfied by this story, but I wanted to publish it before Make Your Mark came out and potentially contradicted how Posey is presented here. The story was conceptualized before we knew she would be a major character in that, but I did try to incorporate what we've seen in clips of her personality.
