This story is a sequel to My Little Planeswalker: Glimmering Oil

After Sunset Shimmer cleansed the human world of Phyrexia’s influence, she finds herself faced with a new reality: a world where every living human has access to their magical powers. But though the plane of Anthropia has long been known to be deeply entwined with Equestria, even those who have traveled between both worlds do not truly understand the nature of the connection.

When the human Twilight discovers the fossilized remains of an alicorn, her Equestrian counterpart is sent down a path that will unravel a secret hidden for two-hundred millennia. As an unexplained phenomenon causes Equestria’s mana to slowly fade, Twilight discovers not only the forgotten history of both worlds, but the machinations of an elder dragon intent on destroying everything she holds dear.

So he created his own self-fulfilling prophecy with his younger self? Time Turner you absolute madlad.

I'm not sure why Diverted Summoning needs to be an enchantment when it doesn't have the usual "bring it back" clause on most O-Ring effects.

Oh my. Cartouches from the entire uncorrupted octatheon of Amonkhet. Very nice.

Ah, closed loops. Always fun. Even more impressive when they're entirely deliberate rather than stumbling into a rift. Eagerly looking forward to seeing where this leads... even if "the magic goes away" plotlines always fill me with dread. Still, I doubt it will be permanent here.

Awesome to see this and looking forward to more :-D

Time Turner clearly used his time-traveling ability to go to August 1993, where he cleared his local game store out of Alpha starter decks.

Whoops, good catch! There was supposed to be another line of rules text there:

When Diverted Summoning leaves the battlefield, return the exiled card to its owner’s hand.

I’ve gone back and edited the card to include this.

… so, what happens next, he just closed the loop
What is his next move?

Why is the pact a sorcery? Rest of the cycle is instant speed.

Balancing reasons, mostly. Tutors are powerful enough as it is, and with rare exception instant-speed tutors tend to put cards on top of the library instead of into the hand.
