What if the alicorns of Equestria aren't just representations of their various aspects, but are in fact, linked to their very existance?

This question had been bouncing around my head, and just kept gathering more and more details until I had to get it out for others to know my suffering.

Look, upon the Desolation of Elysium, and know despair.

Edit: I may revisit this at some point and tweak it a bit, but mostly I just needed to get the idea out there before it joined so many others in the dusty, forgotten corners of my mind

Instead of being forgiven for her crimes against the Equestrian Princess, Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer is sentenced to a lifetime in Tartarus. But when trouble rises in Equestria, Twilight Sparkle and her friends come to an unlikely solution.

Chapters (6)

In this universe, Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle were best buddies since they were fillies (though Sunset was older than Twilight), bonding over their shared obsession with studying. But all that changed when Twilight had to do the entrance exam, which ended as well as one expected it to. But rather than be accepted this time, she was rejected...but not for long. Meanwhile, Sunset has the unenviable task of looking over the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration and "make some friends".

NOTE: While this story has the comedy tag, that's more to do with some early life shenanigans as well as Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie. I can assure you that it will get darker as it goes on.

It's been twenty-one years since Twilight Sparkle and her friends visited the alternate world of Equestria-V, wherein their lives and the fate of the entire multiverse hung in the balance. Though things have changed at home since their return—including accepting their clones from that alternate world into their own—things have generally settled down, for the most part, and that adventure is now long behind them.

Except for Rarity, who left a piece of herself in that other world and still longs to go back, no matter how impossible that might seem. However, a spell gone awry gives her—as well as Apple Bloom and Flurry Heart—the opportunity to make things right, and to see the ramifications of things that have happened since Rarity was last in that other world.

This story is no longer considered canon to the original CRISIS: Equestria timeline.

Somepony asks Pinkie Pie a stupid question about mental health. So she gives them a stupid answer.

A crossover with Neon Genesis Evangelion, for which it contains very large spoilers. Probably more wholesome than you'd guess from the tags or the title.

Artwork, as you already guessed, by uotapo. Proofread by NaiadSagaIotaOar.

The Young Six are in the midst of a slumber party in the Treehouse of Harmony, and have reached the point in the party where scary stories are to be told. However, none of the students seem to be able to come up with good enough stories. In response to this, the Spirit of the Tree of Harmony appears and offers to show each of the young creatures a story that is not just scary, but also brimming with imagination, and the powers of the mind. Stories of shadow and substance, of things and ideas.

Each of the young creatures will be brought into another dimension vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between the pit of fear and the summit of knowledge. The Spirit will be their tour guide in this mysterious realm known as. . . The Simulacrum Realm.

This collection of stories is based on the television series "The Twilight Zone" by Rod Serling.
