Everypony enjoys myths and ponytales, even if they know such things aren't real. Alicorns fighting against a spirit of chaos? An ancient princess trapped in a library under a tree, waiting to be found? Quite enchanting and fantastic tales yes, but nonetheless as fictional as Daring Do and other such stories. At least, that's what Rarity used to think.

Things are hard in Ponyville for Fluttershy and Discord; mainly because of Discord. But when magic starts to go on the fritz and eventually starts failing altogether, it's up to the main six and the Draconequus to find out what's causing it and, more importantly, how to fix it.

This would be a lot easier if anypony trusted the King of Chaos to begin with, but with bigger problems on the horizon, some things will have to wait to be dealt with. Like trust. Or loyalty. Or friendship.

Of course, sometimes what we think isn't important to deal with right now, is exactly what's needed to prevent things from getting far, far worse.

Princess Twilight has to marry wealth to save her kingdom, but the king's not what she expected. What's worse, while she's to get closer to the king, she finds herself growing fonder of his captain. While at the same time the king finds he's growing closer to another mare, one who he feels a deep connection to like never before. When so many things stand between the pairs what will they decide to do in the end? Which will the two choose at the end of this game Love or Power? And what will their choices mean at the end?

Ten years ago Applejack disappeared without a trace. Now Fluttershy must find out why, but will that be possible when she's thrown together with a pierced, tattooed, reality-bending draconequus who's just recently escaped being trapped in stone?

AU Fluttercord set 10 years after the first three seasons (minus the Discord episodes.) Inspired by Fluttershy and Discord's relationship both in the show and in several fanfics (*cough* Bride of Discord *cough*), and based loosely (extremely loosely) on the plot from the Stieg Larsson novel "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." Contains some Murder Mystery elements so is rated T just to be safe.
