There was, some importance behind the phrase that she had heard so very often from her peers, it was almost immobilized in the stone that buried most of the original Spartans that used it.

"Spartans never die, they are just MIA."

Sure any normal civilian, hell, any normal soldier could think as such. Not Laura. She was on the
inside, inside of everything that ONI tried so deeply to snuff out. She was apart of this giant organization that covered everything she tried so hard to accomplish for mankind, in that horrible black ink. She was a Spartan. A Spartan-III to be exact. See, Spartan-II's like the Master Chief everyone knew about, everyone looked upon, and everyone looked towards as heroes.

But not Laura. She would forever be doing undercover Black Ops missions and nobody would even bat an eye. Invade the enemy, recover intelligence, don't get caught. "If you do get caught, you're dead." She was always told. "Shoot first, ask later."

If it sounded all horrible, that wasn't the original intent. Laura liked being undercover, but it's those who get all the recognition, all the honor, whom she feels objected towards. Those are the UNSC's heroes, while Spartans like Laura die in the backdrop, and nobody cares.

One day what if she were to... Disappear? Perhaps forever? Would anyone care?

That's what it's like to be expendable...

Twilight disappeared, fifty years later Celestia receives a letter that will set her on a journey. Celestia will put aside her crown and allow Harmony to guide her hooves one last time. Perhaps she will find more than she ever dreamed, or a nightmare.

   After a terrible mistake, Silver Watch has been forced to travel existence fulfilling his job as the Traverser. Its been more than two thousand years since the start of his journey and it has finally brought him to the magical world of Equestria. Will this new pony find it in himself to trust in friendship once more, or will his curse as the Traverser spell doom for all of Equesria. Only time and a certain Princess of the night can tell.

Equestria is suffering.
Princess Luna feels alone, powerless and utterly depressed. In her weakness, she accepts an deceitful Ex-Guard back into her service, one who only wishes to manipulate her for his own gain.

Feelings of loneliness and pain couldn't have come at a worst time though. As things seem bad enough , war is on the horizon, Ponies go missing daily and Celestia invites a strange new race of beings into Equestria. A strange bipedal species from a dying world, who command little trust and carry possibly dangerous motives and desires.

As Equestria witnesses their Princesses fight over lies made and secrets kept, and civil war becomes ever more likely, in a place far away, Rainbow Dash has to survive in a world without friendship, and one bathed in fire and constant death. Her loyalties will be tested, and soon she discovers teaching loyalty and friendship to others is a task far harder than she expected.

Friends will be pit against friends, but will it even matter, when the portals of hell open, and darkness floods the land?

Politics are awful, especially when you are the newest princess of Equestria.

But you know what? I don't care. Sadly for me, Celestia does care and she will do everything in her power to teach me a lesson. Sadly for her, I tend to ignore boring things, like, a lot.

So what do I do? Escape to Las Pegasus and start gambling of course!

The duchy of Maretonia, a mysterious land on Equestria's border that few Equestrians have ever visited. It is a strange land, fraught with danger, mystery, and Romance. But when Maretonian Native Fiesta Flair gets homesick, she takes a group of friends back to visit her native land. They enjoy their vacation at first, but they soon find themselves on an adventure that will throw all of Equestria in danger.

Ghost Pepper dreams of many things. Dreams of being a noble in Manehatten's bureaucratic table. Or a royal knight, tasked with defending the throne and the princess. Or perhaps finding the one pony he can call a friend. He dreams big. Yet when he awakens, he finds himself struggling with the everyday menial hum drum tasks of cleaning the orphanage's halls, rooms and only getting scraps of the food from the other colts and fillies.

Ghost Pepper dreams big. But a wakening nightmare haunts him. One that he can't help but finding himself in over and over. If he is to overcome this nightmare, he not only requires the help of three curious fillies, but a royal alicorn who walks the Dream Plane.
