Hi all,
I've got two (identical) pieces of news today. The first piece of news is here. Here's the second:
Hello, everypony~
So I've had some stuff sitting around for a while which I figured it might as well share (and I figured, given today is the day that it is, this would be a good day to do it). So that's what's in this blog post. None of it is serious by any means but it does run the length of the entire story. So, spoilers ahead!
Hey all.
I just wanted to let you know that I made an e-book version of this story available. And by e-book, I mean a pdf that you can download. Fimfiction has a built-in epub thingy but it doesn't look as nice and, more importantly, it loses a lot of the formatting. I've been making these with my previous stories because I personally think they turn out a little nicer. I've done my very best to make sure that this one looks just as nice as the previous ones.
Henlo, everyone. Welcome to the Ask Me Anything volume II. I’ve compiled your questions and would now like to hold this session in order to answer them. There aren’t too many of them but I think, nonetheless, we’re going to have fun with this.
Read on ahead for discussions on multiversal ponies, shirts, and portals.
So, now that Reflections is complete, I thought I would give an AMA another try. I attempted to run one back in October, I believe, but that one didn't get any questions (and I'm hoping the same doesn't happen this time around). (Incidentally, if you go looking for this one, it doesn't exist anymore.)
Well, here we are. We’ve reached the end of Reflections.
I will assume that, if you are reading this, you too have made it through the story. You have my sincerest gratitude for taking this journey with me. I certainly hope you enjoyed what you read!
There is a lot that I would like to say about his story. As such, what follows is an accounting of what went into this. Obviously, spoilers ahead!
Basically what it says on the tin. Obviously. Twilight, Sunset, and Starlight have well-defined human forms. And there are already a variable amount of hypothesized forms for Chrysalis. I'm somewhat interested to know what people think Crystal Faire's human form would look like (especially since I haven't given it too much thought myself since a human form doesn't appear in this story). What would she wear? How tall would she be? How would she wear her hair? Stuff like that. My intuition is
I did it.
As of a few minutes ago, I typed the last word for Reflections. As of now, the story is draft complete.
And I'm feeling a bit melancholy about this because, while I'm really happy with how it turned out and I can't wait to share it with all of you, this story is a chapter of my life that is now closing. It's a strange feeling.
But, anyway, I just wanted to let all of you, my readers, know.
And, for the record, the total end wordcount at this time is 140,070.
I just crossed it.
I've been doing a lot of writing over the past few days. I'm really happy with the amount of work that I've gotten done so far and, if I continue at this pace, I'll have most if not all things done soon enough. But, for today, I've reached a milestone!
As of a few moments ago, the total draft for Reflections reached 100,000 words!
I think that I'm going to ramble just a pinch.
It's November, which means that many authors are currently partaking in NaNoWriMo / NaNoPoMo. I am currently attempting not attempting sorta attempting not really attempting doing it off the books, and I'm doing it to help myself get a leg up on Reflections. I've been meaning to get some more in so that I could share more of the story with all of you, and I figured this would be a good opportunity to do so.
Pretty much the title of this blog. I don't know how it happened but it must have been there for some time.
The chapter in question was chapter 18. Note that chapter 17 is not even out yet (that's for next week). So, if you did manage to read chapter 18, you did so having skipped a chapter. As of this time, I have unpublished the chapter again.
Sorry about all this, folks. I kinda blundered here.
