Twilight crosses the mirror portal to pursue Sunset Shimmer after the theft of the Element of Magic. She finds herself in a world of odd two-legged creatures, and for some reason they're all obsessed with a card game called "Duel Monsters." Twilight soon learns that the only way to get her crown back is to win it in the school's semi-annual duel tournament, of which Sunset has been the reigning champion three rounds running. The tournaments have divided the school, and split up a group of five friends similar to Twilight's friends in Equestria.

Twilight now faces her biggest adventure yet. She must master Duel Monsters, reconcile these other versions of her friends, and defeat Sunset to win the Autumn Crown. And she has only three days to pull it off. It's time to duel!

It's been more than a thousand years since the Mane Six's adventures in Ponyville, and things look very different. Equestria is gone, devoured by chaos. Nightmare creatures roam the lands, changelings prey on the few remaining pony settlements, and all trace of the peace and harmony during Princess Celestia's reign has vanished.

Until, that is, a small group of ponies set out to map the Tangle, and find a slumbering dragon inside. Now Spike, a millenium out of his time and with only his memories to comfort him, is ponykind's only hope. Together, he and his new friends set out to find the one pony who can set things right: Twilight Sparkle.

The ancient necropolis of Nightmare moon has been awakened by her brief return to Equestria preceding her defeat. Now its abhorrent denizens are revived after a thousand years of debauchery and decay and with no direction or control. They will soon break free from their dungeons of night and spill across Equestria spreading darkness and death. That is, unless six friends, accompanied by the better part of the city's creator, can stop the spread of chaos and and gloom before all of Equestria falls victim to the things made in secret by an angry heart.

Twilight Sparkle begins a great journey when Luna appears to her with grim news. She must gather the gang and again set out to save all of Equestria and beyond from a return of darkness. Twilight must face her inner demons as well as great emotional turmoil as the journey brings about feelings she never thought could exist. Will her forays into the dark places of the world and her own heart break her..?

This story begins a few weeks before the events of Ghosts of Whitetail Wood and continues forward past the ending of that story. Celestia is confronted with the fact that her faithful student has managed to break the fundamental laws of the universe. If left uncorrected, there's a good chance that the universe itself may unravel. The obvious answer is to kill Twilight Sparkle and all of creation is conspiring to eliminate her as a threat. Celestia has other ideas.

For a thousand years, there was just Celestia. Then Cadance appeared, Luna returned -- and now Twilight has ascended. There are ponies who are very curious about just what happened, why -- and how. Especially the how. Twilight herself is on that list, a freshly-minted princess with far more questions than answers, about to face a brand new one: what truly makes an alicorn?

And what happens if it goes wrong?

Having moved to the town of Ponyville per an assignment by her mentor, Princess Celestia, at the end of the summer before her junior year of high school, Twilight Sparkle seemed out of place, acing all of her classes but also receiving ridicule from several other students. However, they may have take a step back after several events occur a month into her junior year.

[Yu-Gi-Oh adaptation, follows most of FiM's plot to a point. Rated Teen for violence, swearing, some sexual references, referenced drug use, and dark content. Has winged and horned humanization.]

While experimenting, Twilight's new teleportation spell goes awry, sending her careening into a different world, just in time to take part in a fantastic ritual called Heaven's Feel. Twilight must adapt to the world of humans and take part in the vicious conflict that is the 4th Holy Grail War as a Servant alongside her equally reluctant Master. The duo must contend with powerful adversaries and survive the subtle machinations of the Magi determined to win the Grail at any cost. Can Twilight overcome her unwillingness to take the lives of others? More importantly, should she? And is there any way for the displaced Unicorn to return home? Trapped, alone and in a different world and surrounded by enemies on all sides, does the Magic of Friendship still hold any hope for Twilight?

Twilight disappeared, fifty years later Celestia receives a letter that will set her on a journey. Celestia will put aside her crown and allow Harmony to guide her hooves one last time. Perhaps she will find more than she ever dreamed, or a nightmare.
