Duel 14-The Hunchback Killer

The Hunchback Killer's room was a dank and dark room filled with various weapons mounted on the walls. The only source of light once the door closed behind Fluttershy and Rarity was 6 candles on the walls. The killer himself wielded a large knife.

Rarity said to Fluttershy as they and the killer paced around each other, "Just stay calm, and do NOT get hurt, alright?"

Fluttershy whimpered and nodded her head. The killer replied, "What are ya gonna do?"

Rarity replied, "Try to stop you and get the hell outta here."

"We'll see about that," the killer replied. Then, suddenly, he charged at Fluttershy with his knife. Rarity quickly reacted, grabbing her by the back of her shirt and pulling her out of the way. She then noticed an axe on the wall next to her. She quickly grabbed it and pushed Fluttershy behind her.

Rarity, defiantly holding the axe, said, "Come any closer and I'll split your head open!"

"Well," the killer replied. "Looks like we are at an impasse. We both have weapons, very lethal and sharp ones too, and we can both easily strike at any time..."

For the next 3 or so minutes, the 3 of them held their ground, not moving at all. Finally, Fluttershy began to grow impatient and even more scared. She looked around, trying to see what she could use. "Please, I need to think of something, and fast! I don't know how long Rarity and the killer can keep this up!" Then, she had an idea.

She quietly grabbed a candleholder with a lit candle off of the wall without the killer noticing. She touched Rarity on the shoulder to warn her. Rarity then stepped out of the way as Fluttershy threw the candle at the killer.

The killer flailed his arms as the candle caught part of his shirt on fire. Rarity then threw the axe right at the killer, slashing him across the chest. She then grabbed a throwing knife off the wall and threw it at the killer as well, striking him in the throat. As the killer went down, the fire was smothered by his body falling to the floor.

Fluttershy said, "Oh my..."

"Now that that's all over," Rarity said. "How the hell do we unlock the doors out of here?"

Then, both doors in the room opened on their own. The rest of the gang ran in, checking to see if Rarity and Fluttershy were okay. Rainbow Dash ran over, worried, and said, "Are you hurt anywhere, Fluttershy?"

"No, thank God." Fluttershy then brushed her shoulders. "I'm glad that's over with. I don't know how much longer I could have taken it in there."

Spike ran up and gave Rarity a big hug, saying, "I'm so glad you're okay, Rarity."

The horned girl blushed and returned the hug, replying with, "Thank you, Spike..."

As he watched, Flash Sentry then got an idea. "Hey, everyone, I got a really cool idea." He then reached into his pocket and grabbed a marker. "I forgot I had an old Sharpie pen in my pocket from earlier. Anyways, gather your right hands around in a circle."

Twilight asked, "What are you gonna do?"

"Yeah," Applejack said as well. "Are ya gonna draw a smiley or somethin'?" She then laughed.

"Actually, I was thinking a star, but I like your idea better, Applejack." He then proceeded to draw on the eight of their right hands. When he was finished, he said, "This symbol will represent that we will always be together, even after this smiley face fades away."

Everyone nodded. Rainbow Dash said, "Alright then. I like the idea."

Pinkie Pie said, "This smiley face is pretty cool. So, shall we go to the next round?"

"Of course," Twilight replied. She then turned to everyone else and said, "Alright gang, let's roll out."

The rest of the gang shouted in unison, "Yeah!"

After walking down another corridor, they all found themselves in an empty room with a tall ceiling. Flash Sentry looked around and said, "This place looks pretty desolate. Are you sure this is Moon-T 3 and not some storage room we got lost in?"

"Hey," Applejack said as she pointed at something. "Lookit that over there!"

Twilight looked where Applejack had been pointing and saw an opening up above. "Huh... That's pretty high for an opening... How do you think we'll get there?"

Suddenly, Fluttershy yelled, "LOOK OUT FROM ABOVE!"

Then, a massive metal block fell from the ceiling and onto the floor, just inches from striking Spike and Rarity, who quickly ducked out of the way. The loud clang of the block startled everyone. Spike yelled, "What the hell is this level, anyways?!"

"You are in the Room of Falling Blocks," said Nightmare Moon's voice over an INTERCOM. "The trick is to avoid the blocks while they stack up to let you climb to that opening on the wall. Good luck." The INTERCOM then cut off.

"Oh no," Twilight said. "This could be the worst one yet!"
